sorry its sunday morning and brain won't let me sleep (keeps taking all of the duvet) .. so i have resorted the SS (my own copy just in case dawn has an exorcet missle with my name on it primed) ... and these are the names that have posted past week 11..

Right ..... I am now back home, and have for the last half hour or so been combing the spreadsheet to see who the guilty party is .......

and I have found you!!!!

1 x custard pie heading your way :lol:

No .... seriously folk .... please be more careful when you edit the spreadsheet .... after all there is no way I can protect this ss without locking it down to a few named users (which I may have to consider doing looking at the figures provided by SS007)

However the culprit is one of those few .... so please .... be more careful.

I am still deciding whether to lob you with custard pie via PM .... but for now will let you think about it .... all I can reveal is it was at Apr 29, 12:43 .... so if you get a PM titled 'Custard Pie' you know who you are :D

In the meantime, judging from the replies, I am going to edit the ss .....

I have decided to split it into a 3rd worksheet .... i.e., I will have all the 'active' members on the main page and all those who started, early or later but have not progressed ... into another sheet. That way if they want to 'upgrade' for want of a better word ... it is easier to add them to the main one.

Hope you are all in agreement with this decision .... if not .... complain to the powers that be :p

What was actually happening with the spreadsheet? I'm really curious now :D Was it just being saved after being sorted in the wrong column, or what? Enquiring minds need to know :D
 
I think you should pm the user as if its me then I would like to know because I haven't done it knowingly.

Whoever it is might not know they are doing it.

Right happy 52 campers .....

I have sent my Custard Pie :D and had a response .... seems the person was trying to do us all a favour by sorting into alpha order (thank you kindly for your concern). I will maintain dignity here and not reveal the party, but hopefully from now on we will go forth and have a ss that is more current.

I have now also separated the VERY active members from those who have not had activity in the past few weeks. Please don't take offense if you appear in (Class 2) ... just let me know that you are active again and I will include you in (Class 1),

Also I hope nobody takes offense to being divided, that is not the intension .... just need to keep things simple.

So please if you feel you have been put in the wrong category, speak up .... and more so .... indicate the weeks you have completed.

Sorry if I sound School Headmaster'ish ... but can't think of a better way :bat:

I know what you mean though about being addicted to order and it has always bugged me that the spreadsheet isn't in exact order, but heyho trying to sort it with so many people at different stages was a mission, not as easy as just a click of the button without having loads of sort orders (also because some type in the individual cells).

Anyhoooo, I think it is now in a format that will be easier for everyone to use.

Now you can come out of the corner and get cracking on with your project :lol:

Hi everyone, just thought I would say a hello! It's been one of those weeks, no hot water which has made me really annoyed and fed up, and I'm just shattered! I have been trying to catch up with everyones threads, but not really managed to get very far. Hopefully I will catch up and see what you have all done for this week.

I can't help wanting to know what week 20 is as well :lol:
 
I've added 'power' now. This is the first time I've actually looked at the spreadsheet since the custard pie incident :D I take it you've actually laid it out now, the way I accidentally sorted it last time, as it looks the same as it did before to me. I may be missing something obvious though. Anyway, I definitely popped an X in a box, saved and left. Scared :D

Hiya Niall,

Don't give me a fright like that ..... for a minute I thought someone had gone and unpicked all my hard work again :lol: So I popped over the the ss to check.

What you should notice is that the ss has now been split into categories, i.e., Class 1 for the active memebers, and Class 2 for those who started to project but have either stopped or not updated their project (and ss).

The different sheets are sorted in alphabetical order, which I don't think will present such a problem now, especially as there are fewer of us in the Class 1 sheet to what there was previously, so folk won't have to scroll down to far to find their name. For me, on the big screen, I can now see all the names on one page without having to scroll, but I appreciate that not everyone has the same size screen, and we will never be able to satisfy all the folk all the time.

Last night Tina and I were having a natter about camping, as we both have camper vans .... anyway I said to her wouldn't it be great if we could arrange a weekend camping meet for those who like camping (either with campervan, caravan or tent) .... and those who don't like either could perhaps camp in alternative accommodation and meet us at the campsite or photo spot.

What are your thoughts on this one? I realise we are in the throws of arranging a day meet (but thought why not kill two birds with one stone) :lol:

Are there any interested parties to this idea? All depending on the response, we could find somewhere suitable to all with some great photographic opportunities.

I also suggested that we could make it a sort of Jacob's Join meet, where we all chip in nosh for bbq's and breakies etc.

Let us know your thoughts/ideas on this one please.

Glad we have another onboard ... this weekend I will work on the ss and think your suggestion of putting a lockdown/password on the ss is a good idea. I'll give it some thought. Without child tonight, so hopefully will be able to work on it tonight, that is if the Baileys doesn't get to me first :D

I was thinking that the camping meet would be over and above the day meet, but it makes sense to combine it.

Let's see where is goes.

I could be on for this. Depending where/when. I like camping, but don't own a tent - so might need to cadge a corner of someone's tent. Could be good if there's photo opportunities.
