That is just showing off Sarah!

Love the aquilegia shot, they are such beautiful flowers. Just waiting for mine to come into flower.

Thanks Sarah. That is the very first of mine, will have loads of different colours appearing soon.

I'm all in favour of flower photos too - that tulip is a beautiful colour.

Love those colours for tulips. As an alternate image, I'd try a tight crop on the one that catches the light and focus (nothing wrong with the current crop though).

Tulips is a nice shot Phil , lovely the flower photography

Don't mind more flowers, they brighten up what is another bloody rainy day here :(

Some super flower shots since my last visit Phil.

Thanks for all the comments guys. The flowers will prove handy for me all summer i think, there should always be plenty of choice between my own garden and all my customers gardens too. Need to improve a bit i think though.

Day 138. Was busy painting inside today as the weather here was rubbish all day and forgot about my shot until late this evening. Quickly grabbed another Aquilegia from the garden.

Nice catch up Phil - I particularly like the apple blossom and the young thrush.

Day 139. My alarm went off this morning at 4.15am, i was out of the house for 5 and starting walking at 6 with my 2 faithful companions. I covered 17 miles over 6 mountain summits but the cloud stayed low all day and there was no decent views all day. This is Ben Crom Reservoir, you can see the clouds covering the mountain tops all around.

Some really beautiful shots Phil, I like them all, but today's just has that something extra.

I agree with Sarah and Sarah. Lovely images!

I really like the bluebells, and the reservoir. All great shots as per usual though Phil.

Phil 136 is so cute but 139 is so Awesome

Thanks for all the kind comments guys:)

Day 146 Not that happy with this Treecreeper shot but at least i managed to get something. The weather here this morning was very dull and left me struggling to get a decent shutter speed. I have discovered where they are nesting though so i will be back to try again.

What a beautiful view you have :)

The Aquilegia is very Whipspeed inspired and a beautiful colour. Especially like the Goldfinch and the Owl

Another nice blue tit - we don't appear to get them here - or at least not in my garden :(
