Your bird capture is great. I also like the cow shot! The second woodland shot is fantastic, really well composed and would look great on the wall!

Thanks Jake. I wasnt completely happy with the woodland one, it is a 3 shot HDR handheld and i can see ghosting in places and a bit of movement in some of the leaves as it was a bit breezy so i went back this evening. (below)
 
Day 126. I liked the location of yesterdays shot but wasnt completely happy as i had no tripod with me and it was a 3 shot hdr so i could see ghosting and movement in places so i went back this evening for another go. There wasnt as much light as i would have liked

Nce blue tit - but the cows are just gorgeous - so curious.

HI Jake. They were all 17mm, f13, ISO100 and shutter speeds from 1.3 secs to 1/3 second shot in manual. I'm hoping to get back again towards the weekend as more blue bells appear.

I'm hoping to head to our local woods in the upcoming week or two, if I get something half as good as this I'll be chuffed! Especially as my kit lens is broken!

Not sre about the haloing Sarah. Macro is something that i havnt really tried until this week. Maybe over sharpened?

Yes Sarah, I picked up 6 or 7 different colours of large sized sheets of card a couple of months back and they are proving useful. I used the black on the bluebell a couple of days back.
 
Beautiful looking place, but white balance looks to be out in the 2nd one, it's showing very blue for me
 
HDR for me (surprisingly), and yes it's a bit blue (particularly in the water). I'm seeing the single shot a bit warm also! Both are nice images regardless and I like the flowers in the foreground of the first. Great spot!

Showing slightly blue here as well. Rather than HDR, have a trial of NIK effects & try the detail extractor, it works like HDR, but more subtle.

Thanks for all the comments guys. You are right about the white balance, i did re-edit a pile of the shots after adjusting it. Not sure about the hdr shots myself, hard to know if they look right.
