Daily Phil's 2013 365 challenge 1/1/2013 All Done!!!!!!!!

I rather like that!!

I'm ok shooting indoors during the day but hate it at night especially with no flash... house lights are pants!

Some great recent posts. Think the little waterfall is my fav though (although I do have a soft spot for dragons).

Thanks Jake

Thanks Tim. I seem to have a weird attraction to waterfalls, I did think the dragon was cool though. I would like 1 for my garden!

Me too, I'm still doing the basket dance with a shoot through brolly and some flash triggers :( You can bet as soon as I hit purchase, some financial disaster will occur and I'll wish I hadn't bought them

Cool, they will make nice shots once they are blooming - lovely flowers :D

Day 51. Its a special one today! My wife announced on christmas eve that she was pregnant and today was her first scan at 12 weeks. I'm going to be a dad at 40, for the first time! My wife is only 31 and we have been trying for a baby since we got married with a couple of mishaps along the way so this is great news. Not the best picture ever but I dont care!

Congratulations Phil , good luck to you and your Family !!

Thanks guys. It has been hard keeping it quiet from family and friends since xmas, now we can tell everyone.
Vince, I did smile when you said you were going to be a grandad at 43, im a slow starter!

Awwwww that's sooo cool! Congratulations to you both

Huuuuuge congratulations to you and your wife, fantastic news, here's to a healthy pregnancy & birth. I don't see the 365 as always a collection of amazing and technically brilliant photography, it's also about documenting your daily life and events, and this undoubtedly ticks the box...big time. Saying that though, still a good shot fella

Day 52. I managed to get a quick walk this afternoon around our local national trust property between working and sitting with my brothers 2 boys while him and the wife are away to see the Killers.
The snowdrops seem to be fading fast!

Thanks T. What have you done to your avatar???

 Lovely subjects and super composition

Cheers Sarah. There is daffodils coming out close to this spot so the house may make another appearance soon.

Lovely composition Phil, and love how the house in the background is framed by the tree's and bushes....nice shot sir

Thanks Simon, an elderley couple did stop and stare at me as I lay on my stomach in long wet grass with my 2 dogs sitting beside me trying to get low enough to get the snowdrops into the shot:lol:

Days 47 and 48 are wonderful, I love them - so much to see and so many focal points in 47, it's a fave for me  and that amazing cloudy flow of 48 is beautiful.

I also love your other 48 ;) - we had a very similar waterfall and for the life of me I couldn't get a good photo...we're all waiting for some sun, but sometimes that doesn't work out so well! However, you got an amazing photo there!

Day 49.... there is a way out of this winter wilderness, thank goodness! :D

I like the flower - works well for me.

Day 51, not being funny, but what he hell is that thing? looks like a bad abstract or something.....................of a wonderful new life - CONGRATULATIONS :clap::) Great news :)

Snow drops - lovely shot there, well composed and captures a new start for spring very well.
