Daily Phil's 2013 365 challenge 1/1/2013 All Done!!!!!!!!

Great shot
I love fish tanks, I want a tall cylindrical (sp?) one going up the centre of a room from floor to ceiling! When I win the lottery anyway

Nice idea Jake. I have threatened to cut a big hole about 8ft by 4ft in the wall between my kitchen and living room and build a big tank in that you could see through!

Liking this!... lovely and vibrant!!

Day 36.
Snow! We Had snow! We had virtually none a couple of weeks ago when everyone else had loads so i was surprised to see a couple of inches everywhere when i woke up this morning. This was taken in a customers garden, i sort of sat down and leant backwards to look straight up and this is the way it turned out. Sorry if you dont like the crazy angle

We had snow today too. And when everyone else had it lol.

I do really like that! Although I wonder what it'd be like if the trees started at the bottom rather than the top?

Oh wow, I really like that

Thanks Sarah

I know what you mean Toni, im not sure about the whole thing either

Great shot Phil and definitely a crazy angle !!

Thanks Vince

I love that crazy angle and also the fish shot. It's tough when the weather is bad but keep it up.

Cheers.

Now, that's interesting - love the angle, really fools the eye (or eye brain connection or whatever) for a second! FAB!

Ace Angle Phil.. i really like that!

WOW threw me a bit but like it ... a lot

Day 37. Got home from work early today and headed out with the dogs along the river. I thought the sunset might have been better than it was.

Oh, dear, Phil. Have to say I'm a little disappointed, really..............that I didn't get that shot!

I really like this - the vegetation almost replicating the clouds, the reflections, the silhouettes of the trees and that other thing (!), the fence posts.....

absolutely gorgeous shot again Phil

Thanks Sam, anything to keep you happy:)

Thanks Carol

Like the view, but maybe taking it a little earlier so there is more light would have given a little more detail.

When I edited it on my laptop earlier it did look a bit lighter than on my tablet now. I was using a 4 stop nd grad to tone down the sky a bit dut the dynamic range was still too much.

Once again another nice shot Phil , the twigs at the front are a bit distracting from the beauty of the reflections !

Thanks Vince, I did move a few time to try to geta clear view but as you go left up the river there is a solid line of trees on both sides of the river.

I hate it when that happens - we can have a day with loads of lovely wispy high cloud, as soon as the sun sets - gone

Still a very nice place for a photo though - haven't we seen it before?

Gorgeous! to be honest any half decent sunset is good this time of year..... i love the tower being silhouette:thumbs:

Yes Sarah, you have seen it before and very probably will again as I walk along the river regularly with the dogs. Im hoping to get 1 nice sunset at least around this location this year. Our local church is included in this scene too just under the sun.

Thanks T.

Oh - I love the Silent Valley ones - worth getting up early for!

The funny angle trees one is making me dizzy! I sometimes shoot up between trees like that but this one looks upside down somehow? (I think because the trunks are all at the top of the frame).

Keep meaning to do light trails but it's so cold at the mo!

well I like it :D Think the detail is great ... definitely a great shot Phil

I like it, but machinery is so unforgiving.....never turns the way you want it to!:D Works well in mono.

Thanks Lynn, Silent Valley was lovely that morning. As for the trees, yes it works ok flipped round 180 degrees but this is what it looked like when I bent over backwards and shot straight up so I just kept it like that. Now is the time to do light trails when it is still dark for rush hour so get out there!

I like todays I think Phil, the more I look at it the better it's getting :)

Thanks Jake, it is growing on me a bit too.

Sam, you are hilarious:suspect:

I really like todays and think it works well  though I think it would have been that much better if you'd have got in closer as the OOF bar running through frame distracts a little for me

The snowy trees for me is a really cracker too

Works for me totally.... mono definitely works well for this too

Thanks T and Matt. The oof bar running across diagonally is one of the wheel spokes that i was looking through. I thought it was better left in.
