Two great images to finish off your holiday :thumbs: and Phil, stacking is not a task as all if you can download something load files and press play you can stack stars :D the softwae does all the work all you have to do is open the files and press the stack button :D

It's call StarStaX and it's free :D be a shame not to try it once in the year :thumbs:

Thanks Matt. It's something I must look into. Out at the minute squeezing one last sunrise in before I head for the airport:D
 
Sorry guys but I'm going to have to bore you all with another sunrise. Not really that great but it is probably all I am going to get a chance to take as we are spending the rest of the day travelling. Just realised that this is day 13, that unfortunately means I will be 40 in 1 month! Bloody hell!

Some very impressive stuff here Phil. I think that three really stand out - the mountain stream, the horse and that superb sunrise. Well done!!
 
I can't see it as I'm on my phone and not showing so I will come back to it shortly!.....

Lucky you still have a month till you're 40..... I have 2 sleeps left :-( lol

It doesn't show up in the thread on my phone but if you open the post you can see it - at first I thought there was no image there.

Enjoyed all the shots this week Phil - a beautiful place for sunrise/sunsets.
 
I can see it on my phone ok, don't know what the problem is.

If you look closely there is a naked man sun bathing on the rocks! I only spotted him after taking the first few shots. :lol:

Thanks for the comments guys. not long home after flight delays and having to stop to refuel in Portugal:(
Now starting to sort out 4 memory cards full of shots.
As for the naked man, that was the second time over the week that this happened. My wife was with me the first time and had a good laugh too.

Cheers Matt. No, didnt manage to bring any of that weather with me im afraid. Back to the cold and grey weather im afraid. And only bad news everywhere else. Fed up!
 
Day 14. Lacking time and ideas today but was sorting out firewood and tried this. Tried to use liveview to manually focus to get round my back focus issues using autofocus, not so sure it has worked.

Yep great texture. Looks very blue though, could do with warming up a bit I feel.
 
Day 15. Spotted these Hellebores today that had just pushed their way through a layer of leaves and debris. They will be out in bloom in the next couple of days. Spring is definitely coming.

Thanks guys. Have some of these in my own garden, must check and see how they are coming on. Snowdrops almost out too.

Thanks guys. Off now to drop my dslr into the post to try to get big back focus issues sorted out. Not looking forward to the next couple of weeks.
