Thanks guys. Matt, I have a couple of shot including the whole wing, I will maybe get round to looking one out later. Loving Lanzarote so far, have a lighthouse scouted out already for a sunset shot some evening. There is very little cloud in the sky here so the colour isn't great after the sun goes down.

This might be as close as you will ever see to a self portrait! Having a bit of tun this morning at our pool with the 2 second timer wireless remote. Don't know what I have done to my eardrum on the first jump though
Surprising how many attempts this took though. At its amazing how easy it is out here to get 1/1000 at f11!
It's is my wife's birthday today so we have taken it fairly easy today and are going out for a nice meal tonight but we are heading round the island tomorrow in the car so hopefully should have a decent landscape for my shot for tomorrow.
That's 1 week done!

OMG that makes me feel cold. My pool is far toogreencold to swim in at the moment, but you are probably far hardier than me, as well as a lot further south
Ah, the pool is heated. Just out of it now after my morning swim.

Thanks Vince. The weather here is between 25 and 30 since Sunday though it is forecast to be more cloudy tomorrow and Friday. I missed the best sunset ever tonight with a cloudy sky as I decided not to go down to the beach looking across to a lighthouse where I was last night. Was sat in the villa watching the sky getting more and more red. Hoping sunrise tomorrow morning will be good.

I'm not taking much time with editing time be honest and what I can do on my tablet is limited. I Havana awful lot of editing to do when I get home!
Mmmm, surfs up, that looks lovely. I think I need a trip to the beach some time soon
Can't beat the beach especially if you get good weather where you are.

Day 9. Got up at 7 this morning and down to the beach hoping for a nice sunrise. I think the horizon is a bit central in this but didn't want to crop much off either the sky or the rocks in the foreground. im a bit limited to the editing that i can do on a tablet, will have a better go at this when i get home. Heading back down to the beach now for sunset at 6.15 to see what it is like.

Thanks Sarah, yea am kind of happy enough with this. I was annoyed that I missed a great sunset like this last night as the sky was a bit cloudy so was glad to see it still cloudy this morning and produce this.

Thanks guys, it is great to seen natural spectacles like this. Very rarely get something like this at home. Intend getting up early tomorrow morning and going somewhere different to see what I can get.
