My surname is "Jelly", spelt the proper way too...

And at the ripe old age of 40 something, I reckon that I've heared just about all the lines you can think of...... (including references to "KY"....)

My last name is "Tidd". Nothing too funny about that you might think... well add some 1st names to it.....

Eddy Tidd - changes his mind all the time
Dawn Tidd - always feeling down
Sue Tidd - always a good match with everyone
Grant Tidd - allowed to do pretty much anything
Ella Tidd - always pleased to see you

The list goes on and on... makes it very difficult when choosing baby names:lol:

I read a story a few years back where a couple called their son Drew, their surname was Peacock. It wasn't until they went to register the name that it was pointed out to them what they had done.

Gospel honest truth to follow.

I went to school with a lad whose name was Wayne King.

Either he parents didn't realize or were cruel.

hmm, I went to school with a girl called Carmen Gentle.

she wasn't at all, but, what a film star name

With a surname like Greenlees I've heard every variation and here is a small sample:

Greenless
Greensleeves
Greenways
Greenleaf
Greenleaves
Greenlegs (yes, really!)

And my favourite was salesman who called and asked for 'Mr Creamteas'. He didn't sell much.

there was a class a few years below me that had a Lexus, a Mercedes and a Porsche! all in the same class.

I've also taught in a school where the kids names in one family had something related to drugs :( :@

I think I've discovered a Polish racehorse breeder that probably shouldn't bother coming to the UK

Stajnia Sawanka

He's even got his own website !
