Park like an 'r sole' !!

I know someone who has had stickers made saying "you have my space - do you now want my disability" and they stick them to the windscreen on the driver's side. (Don't worry, they are easy peel so don't mark the screen)

I think that's very considerate... I'd have wanted them made with extra sticky glue that set like concrete ;)

I'm pleased to see that my local Sainsburys is now fining people without a blue badge who park in disabled spots.

big pet hate of mine so good on them, although I'm sure somewhere along the line they will get the fine back for infringing their human rights etc :p

back to chuckles and disabled spaces, I broke down in my local Tesco a few years ago and had to push my car into a disabled space to let people through etc. Got a few nasty looks from people even though the bonet was up and car clearly not going anywhere. Even worse, one of the people who were queing behind me while I was pushing the car decided it was wrong as I didnt have a badge! grrrrrr poxy eejits :bang:

My daughter has cp so it infuriates me to watch people park in the disabled bays just cos its closer to the door.

on one occasion i had a perticularly nasty and threating man cut me up to park in a disabled bay of which i had started to reverse into, i got out and asked him what the hell he was playing at and he started shouting at me about 2 inches away from my face then he stormed off, i dropped the wife and kids off to park the car, then returned to his car and let ALL his tyres down. the security guard who had seen it all watched me let his tyres down and when i went in to meet my wife instore he just laughed as i waved at him as i walked past :D

Down my road a disabled lady had a disabled parking space marked out in front of her house. At some point she had a run-in with the man across the road over parking. He then started to park in her space. Obviously she complained to the council, but he had apparently done some homework and discovered that legally there isn't a thing anybody can do to stop him.

Prior to the argument with the lady, he'd been putting out cones and a dustbin to mark out a parking space for himself, but the council put a stop to that. Just a few days ago I watched his wife park in the disabled space, with no cars for 100 yards in either direction. I generally leave others alone when it's none of my business, but it does make me think about doing something sometimes.

Whilst I have no time for people who do this, these fines are not enforceable in law.
