This camera looks excellent, I know it's mainly down to the user as well, but it does seem to produce the goods picture quality wise
Been looking for a compact this week after moving the 40D on as I wasn't taking it out and this thread pushed me to the LX7 which arrived today![]()

Lovely and sharp Phil! By all accounts I nearly had an lx7 today but mrs came home with an rx100 as none in stock!..she treated me big time today.

That's really annoying. You going to ask for a new one?
Or a refund. Not sure if I want to change to another camera. Even though I love the Lumix.
Noooooooooooooo then I'll be the only poster lol.
I had a problem with one of my D7000's and ended up just getting a new body.
If I didn't use the LX7 for high speed video I'd probably get a X20 tbh.
ISO 80 - edited from RAW.
Brilliant! Your best photo!
Absolutely gutted to read this! Have been stalking this thread since my beloved P300 died and thought that this would be the perfect camera. Will have to investigate further. Sarah

It's easy to come up with the worst case scenario in your head which is usually, the most unlikely![]()
