The lack of sharpness is what I was getting. Looked fine on my tablet. Loaded to flickr and posted link and bingo. ?????The last couple of weeks I seem to have stumbled upon a bag of kit that seems to suit me... My Billingham Hadley Pro Small containing my Sony A7 with Voigtlander 35mm f1.4 and my GX80 with 45-150mm.
Anyway. A walk in the park got me these.

I've never really tried to photograph these before but loitering beside the water and trying not to fall in I had a go. 150mm wasn't nearly enough so this is s hefty crop. Also, they're fast and only settled for a moment and I couldn't get a picture with the wings open.

I don't know if it's my eyes, but these don't look as sharp here as on my screen.

There’s only one thing I’m short of!!

So what are you using, or are you just having one of those lulls we all get?I'm using my GX80 and GX9 less and less. I have some pictures on the GX80 to process but I do keep thinking of selling all my MFT kit or maybe just keeping one camera and a couple of lenses. The longer lenses are one thing keeping me interested at the moment as on a RF style camera they make a much smaller camera and lens combination than FF would be, the other thing keeping me hanging on to MFT is that the kit is lightening fast and capable of silent shooting whilst my Sony A7 is slow and has no electronic shutter option.

Has anyone experience of using either (or both) the Laowa 7.5mm or 10mm on their m4/3?
No, I understand both are MF, however for landscapes that doesn't bother me.No I haven't. I do believe neither will AF on Lumix cameras. MF is OK for macro or tabletop stuff, but out & about I need AF.

Signpost by Stephen Lee, on FlickrNot got used to the menus yet - it may be me, but there seems to be conflict/duplication between some items. Like the controls a lot. I took your advice and bought the deep eyecup, and I find the EVF better than the A7C. But the EVF flips up too easily when you're carrying the camera. The battery life seems similar to the A7Rii, ie, lousy! Luckily it's the same battery as my LX100. I might end up getting a grip/bracket for it, probably an ARCA-compatible one, as long as it doesn't make it too bulky. But this was its first outing as it only arrived yesterday afternoon. I think it's a keeper. Now I'm just mulling over a standard zoom for it. I think I've narrowed it down to either the PanaLeica 12-60 f4, or the Oly 12-45 Pro. The latter is lighter, the former is longer - decisions!Hope you are getting on well with it?
How about the evf, good enough?
After hours of video watching, I've decided that my money is going on the Oly 12-45. Mainly because it's a tad lighter and more compact. 90mm range is normally more than adequate for me. Now I need an ultra-wide (7-10mm). And I don't want the Oly 9-18. Had one when I was on EM-5 and hated it then.I'm glad you seem mostly happyand it's nice that the evf hasn't disappointed you.
I have two standard zooms, I have the teeny tiny 14-42mm f3.5-5.6 mega ois and the 12-35mm f2.8. The f2.8 zoom is I think good for getting a shallower FF dof look but you don't get the extra range.
Optically it's not bad, but the aperture sucks. And like you say, being collapsible irritated me also.I quite like the Oly 9-18mm, it seems pretty vice less to me but I'd prefer it if it wasn't collapsible as I find it a faff on.

The older version has aperture blades that make a noise like a rattlesnake.I wouldn’t mind a PLeica 25mm if I understand correctly it has an aperture ring. It would complement my PLeica 15mm.
Really looking forward to collecting mineI have an offer in for a GM5 in the classifieds at asking price and if I receive it I've been thinking about getting a Panasonic 20mm f1.7. I've had two, mk1 and mk2, the latter I think came with a camera as a bundled lens and I didn't really rate either much preferring the Oly 17mm f1.8 but the 20mm is more compact and the equiv of 40mm on FF. I'm also thinking about the 14mm f2.5 as it and the 20mm would make a nice compact kit. I had the 14mm years ago and didn't use it much so sold it but these days I like the idea of taking a two lens set out.
A GM5 and 20mm would almost take me back to where I started, with a Kodak 36 Instamatic which afaik had a 43mm f11 fixed focus lens. I used to take that camera everywhere and I still have it but haven't taken a picture with it for decades. The GM5 will very likely give better image quality.
