Brilliantly framed, and the mono really adds to it, I imagine you used burst mode there?
 
Seems odd to take the Red Arrows in B&W but my experience with plane photography is that it can be very difficult to get the colours right with the underside of the plane that you can see being in shadow, so actually that might be an excellent decision. Great composition.

The came at us 15min early and straight out of the Sun. Quick scramble and a very dark resulting set of shots!

Week 26 : Transport

Happened across this likkle fella/lass/same thing in snails I think. Couldn't restist getting down to floor level with the iPhone.

A rarity on the Settle/Carlisle Railway this afternoon as Class 52 D1015 'Western Champion' hurtles through Kirkby Stephen with 37240 on the rear with The Western Mountaineer tour. Sounded fantastic

Week 28 : Portrait

My eldest and I managed an hour away from Hospice duty on Friday and had a brief stroll down the River Lune at Halton. Here's a Landscape format Portrait of her across the river from Halton Hall (Yes - she always has sleepy eyes on photos!) Alas, my 85 year old Mum passed away yesterday morning so my activity here at TP may be minimal for a while. Lots to do!
