The TP 52 - 2025 Oy's Rambling Shenanigans 2025 - Week 52 NEW & Tech and Year 8 Complete!

Week 9 : Horizontal and LE Tech

Taken on a mooch down the prom here in Morecambe this afternoom.

A panning shot with a difference. I panned the other way. Left to right - so its a kinda ICM shot. Going for just the horizontal fence lines appearing sharp - and shot at 1/8" for Long Exposure.

I also like this test shot with just the sea ,sand and fence.

Two very good shots.

I think you chose the one which will have more appeal, but for me, the second one floats my boat.

Ta Paul :)

The chosen one is the best one in my opinion but t'other looks quite abstracty, so it's a yes from me.
Cheers Bob :)

Think you picked the right shot, like how you can see the bottom railing as his legs are moving faster

Thanks Keith :)

Both good, I like the stark simplicity of the second shot. Tried something very similar before retreating to the garage.

Really like these Dave, I might have been tempted to go with your test shot.

Both nice but I have to say your test image really does something for me :)

Nice pattern especially it receding into the background and finishing touch is the MR, Loco is a good shot, could have done with a bit more space on rhs but maybe not possible

Ta - no - end of platform full of photographers :)

Your chosen shot is good... but those wheels on the steam engine... gorgeous!

(Could have cropped tighter?)

I think I was in your neck of the woods today... Lancaster?

Yep - Lancaster. Well a few miles away at the seaside :)

Nice shot of the empty station
Ta - it's only empty because a couple of hundrd tran folk are behind me looking at the steam train :)

Always love your train shots Dave. Your bonus shot is awesome.

I think that you chose the right one for your patterns shot, the DOF really makes it pop.
