Cheers AllanBoth work but the detail in the first works for the theme
Ta muchly KeithNo mistaking those glasses in the close up, good to see he won't ever be forgotten in his home town, Nice texture BTW![]()
Ta BobGreat shot of the great man!!
Ta muchly SimonNice shot for the Theme Dave. Instantly recognisable!
Great close-up Dave. I had to look up who Eric Morecambe is though...![]()
Thanks Pete. I was there to see the big Ferry called "Manxman" that goes between Heysham here in Lancashire to Douglas on the Isle of Man. It's an interesting walk to get there. Through a nature reserve and down the back of a Nuclear power station with outflows etc. Got some nice photos - but this was the shadow oneA lovely blue sky offsets those dark shadows. The touch of red really lifts the shot.
Cheers PaulNicely composed. That certainly works.
Ta RossI like the curved shadow against the angular sea wall
ThanksGood shadow, sounds like an interesting walk
Cheers AllanNice composition, I like that the wall is level with the horizon.
Yes, that's a proper detail that adds to the pictureNice composition, I like that the wall is level with the horizon.
Ta AlanYes, that's a proper detail that adds to the picture
Thanks Kell. If my main aim wasn't to feature the shadow I may have done just that. I wanted the shadow to be more dominantNicely observed and taken.
Though i think I'd be tempted to put the lighthouse slap bang in the middle and crop a little tighter.
This is a good one Dave, if you'd had a tripod it would have made a good tech shot as well.
All the right moves; not necessarily in the right order.
He is still making people smile then
A lovely fun shot
LOL, I'm chuckling as I type this. I think that your chosen shot is probably the best but I really like #3 as well.
Funny. I bet only those of us of a certain age will immediately hear "Bring me sunshine"
Many thanks folksExcellent!

Ta KeithLove that Dave
TaVery nice! I like them all, but think you went with the right one. He's very popular!
