"Down the lane" not far from Oulton Park, Cheshire.

Always love a good "pathway through the forest" shot and this one is a beauty.

Very good, really like the light and colour.

Lovely shot Dave. Plenty to peak the interest about what's at the end of the path.... Light is great too.

TRhanks Simon :)

That's a very pleasant scene Dave
The track works well, but not for racing on, you did say Oulton Park.

Pete

Very nice image. Makes you wonder what's down the lane.

Lovely image, the pov is perfect and you've used the DoF to great effect too. Nicely done indeed.

That's great Dave. Love the low angle and the light. You're drawn straight into the pic.

I think this is a lovely shot... a great pov that really leads the eye and it has some lovely light and colour. You've made a simple shot very interesting.

Week 17 : Hole

Two from the BSB at Oulton Park today.

1. Wet hole

2. Fire in the hole!

Original and a different take on the theme.
A good bike shot too.

Unusual - I've definitely never heard of a Brambling so your post is educational. Nice DOF control to get my attention on the bird.

Snappers Choice - Cameras are great for making memories, I know 20+ years ago when my daughters were toddlers and younger everyday there was photo opportunities. At least with digital you can snap away to your hearts content, back then it was Minolta 35mm compact zoom film camera.

Trees - I like the layers in this image with the path leading you through.

Hole - A different take on the theme, I must admit I didn't see the fire immediately in the second one. After I read the title the penny dropped. How close are you to the action to get the biker going round the corner?

Thanks Stuart.

For the bike shot I was about 50m away at 500mm. Plus a fair crop.

Both hole shots are great but the second one definitely the winner for me. Excellent!

I did consider a shot of an exhaust for the hole shot (!) but my back's playing up so I wasn't sure I'd get up from taking one!

No flames though!!!

Both are great shots, the exhaust is perhaps a bit more suited to the theme but I’m very impressed you caught the flame on the one you posted.

Terrific shots Dave. I think you’ve chosen the right one for the theme.

That takes me back... used to be a regular at the BSB! Nice composition and very sharp. I really appreciate how difficult it is to get that sort of shot having failed so frequently.

Fantastic images! As a bike lover these really tick the box for me.

#2 for me there, it's a really nice shot.
