Another bloke who shot his load too early at the sight of a beautiful woman.
and I thought mine was bad :shake:
IF he did it, and it was an accident then its quite sad..
They had a reporter from SA on Today at just after 7 this morning, she said it's not without precedent and there have been a few cases of people shooting loved ones thinking they were burglars due to the high crime rate and widespread handgun ownership.
This maybe true, but as I said in my original post - you check your bed first don't you?
If the bed is partner-less, it's bloody likely that the noise coming from the kitchen is going to be them and not an intruder.

what happens if they do not live together and she was 'creeping' in to surprise him?.....Why would he need to check the bedroom/bed if he believes he was the only person in 'da house'?
I am glad you are not my solicitor/detective working on the case.
Blimey. Police investigating reports of screaming & shouting before the shooting. There is also some history of domestic unrest.
Madness.
I wonder if he was drunk and legless?

LBC news said that South African police know nothing about the accidental shooting story. He is being charged with murder.

Yes really. Have you lost a loved one and can I make fun about it?
viv1969 said:Yes I have Neil....at at times even I can laugh about it. It's human nature.

I'm just amazed he didn't run off up the road after the gun fired....
Neil, I agree with what you say about the family, but I don't think anyone is being deliberately disrespectful to them, it the human condition to react with a some degree of humour to such shocking news.

only for around 1/4 of a mile if you ask me
I'm one of those people who can't joke about something as tragic as this.
And why are people assuming that he is guilty anyway? We just don't know.
