Optech Straps

Can i assume that if said strap was to come undone gravity would take over and the supported would droop sorry i mean drop.

I think you're right Mitch.... but it was my previous one that let things droop, Im hoping the Optech will keep things shipshape and bristol fashion!!

Well, having read the initial thread (what happens when you miss a few days huh??!!) I bought the optech pro. Having used it all morning with the 5d, BG-E4 and 24-105, i can honstely say its worth every penny!!! Great bit of kit - go for it John :)

I,m hoping it will support 5D and my 300mms (12 inches in old money)

Sorry to shock you all...but this is a complety clean post! :)

Has anyone got both a OPtech classic and a pro and can they tell us any major likes and dislikes of both (apart from the pro looking yukky!!):D

I,m hoping it will support 5D and my 300mms (12 inches in old money)

I'm too much of a Jessie to let the 300mm dangle - don't like all that weight on the mount

;)

Johnny.......you were determined to undo my good clean post by a filthy dirty in the gutter job.....

Nice to get back to normal! :D

whaaaaaaa? It's true

OK, maybe a little touch of double entendre... you wouldn't have it any other way :)

I wouldnt have it at all........if it were any other way!!! :D

All this fuss about straps, why not invest in one of these supports, even medium bouncing wouldn't effect your camera gear and I'm sure that a cradle arrangement could even be makeshifted to support any hefty accessories.
