You'll get annoyed every time you read a thread from someone who says the IQ of their 5D mk III is so much better than their old 7D

Love mine, it's a fantastic camera. The high-ISO noise "issue" only seems to affect/annoy some people.
Then you'll realise how much less than the 5D3 owner you've spent and relax because you're not a pixel-peeper.![]()
Does your one perform well when using low light / high ISO? If so I probably need to send it to Canon for repair ... But when I googled I see it's a common problem
Hi guys have been serching the net and racking my brains on a camera upgrade and I think im going to go for a 7d but opinions from any 7d owners would be a great help
Thanks
My 7D transformed the hobby for me and I absolutely adore it. Similar to a post above, I'm waiting to see the Mk2 as it's likely the only thing I'd swap it for at the moment. It is quite unforgiving of technical mistakes but that's exactly what it did for my hobby, it forced me to learn how learn how do things correctly and my pictures improved dramatically as a result. Happy camper![]()
Congrats mate. Any tips to share?
) seriouly though read the owners thread, if I remember when I get home this evening or tomorrow I will send you the links I found to be usefulThought I'd chip in my thoughts. Picked a 7D up yesterday, my initial thoughts over my initial 500D, this thing is heavy! But I like it!
Try using the 7D for a couple of weeks then have a go at using the 500D. When I went back to the 550D to use as a second body for an event it felt like a plastic toy! lol
Congrats mate. Any tips to share?
lol, you should try one of the 1D bodies with a 50-500OS on, now thats heavy!
