The blackouts on the EVF always annoy me - I was drag racing earlier in the year and watched a crash, i caught 3 shots before I had no idea where the car was and it had hit the barrier. Apart from that, for cars I see no difference from the e-m1 to my old d7000 in terms of hit-rate as cars are big and fairly predictable in their movements ( generally )
Maybe its my technique - i need more practice when my kids are on the bmx track as there are jumps, skids, dust and other distractions. My e-m1 + 40-150 f2.8 + TC weighs under 1.4kg whereas a d500 + 70-200 would be 2.4kg so that's a factor too. In fact just the d500 + 70-200 weighs more than my camera and 4 lenses..
