Oldest Nikon Camera up for auction

I suppose there are two takes on this.
Either a). It should be in a museum, or b). It should be used, not put in a case.
Either way, it made me remember why I dislike auction houses so much.

Hardly the auction house's fault that someone wants to sell it; difficult question re. use or display, in use it will degrade and eventually stop working, at which point parts would need to be replaced thus making it less original. As it isn't a non-repeatable work of art my head says carry on using it but my heart thinks 'once it's gone it's gone, so preserve it'. Still, it's not my problem, unfortunately (said the Canon user:cool:)

is it many MP?

Will the seller help out with any warranty issues if needed? :naughty:
