No
It could be for a dog with no legs. Like my grandfather's old dog Marlboro. He called him Marlboro because he took him out for a drag every day.

:D

Yeah we know:p

My guess is that its for these stupid over prices mini designer breeds AKA hybrid mongrels

And some if them not so mini!

Reminds me of dog training programme on the TV sometime last year. In one of the stories the owner had, I think, two Pekingese. When she went for a walk she took a baby buggy with her because one of her dogs got 'tired' during the walk and had to be put in the buggy and pushed!

Dave

Oh but what if their little doggy gets tired. It's only got little legs.

I think it cruelty, just like when I see overweight dogs and children. We are so going down the wrong path.

There is a woman that often walks her little "rat" sorry I mean carry's it past here

It makes you wonder why people have dogs sometimes doesn't it?
(and dare I say Children? nope I'm not that brave :D )

True enough but smaller do seem to be more in vogue at the moment,
it makes me chuckle trying to decipher some of the "breed" names they give the little mongrels :D

I was buying some clothing online today and at several sites I was looking at a sizing chart. Did you realise that for a lot of our clothing an M in the UK is the same as an L on mainland Europe ;)

It finally resolved the mystery to me why I had gone done a size. Seriously though we are so on our way to serious obesity in this country and the sad thing is not just ourselves, our children but also our animals. It actually makes me very sad and angry.

Yep the sizing aren't standardised are they which does make buying clothing over the internet a little tricky.

BTW The "zero" size is outrageous IMO

The lady in M&S in Strasbourg told me my size was "grand" . What a nice lady.

So what? If one of my huskies gets tired and slows down, one crack of the whip and we're back up to full speed. Strangely that seems to happen more often in summer, now the snow has gone.

WTF I hope that was a sick sense of humour.

Saw one of these the other day. To be fair the dog in there looked pretty old, but seemed to be enjoying being pushed around.

I do hope you have one of those sledges with wheels on, now the snow has gone too!
Otherwise that would be cruel :(

Depends on the age I think. In my opinion there is too much outrage by overweight mingers who say it is unnatural to look like that. Hmm hello, no it isn't when you are young and fit and healthy. What was all this commotion of some posters in the underground. The woman involved looked absolutely normal like how a low twenties man or woman should look like.

Suppose if we push our kids around, dogs are the next step, personally I hate it, people do actually use pushchairs for their dogs,
someone has plugged a hole in the market.
To me it's the same as prolonging life with those wheels, ok as long as the dog is young and reasonably active, but when you see
old dog struggling with them, it's just outright cruel

My apologies if I offended anyone, in defending what is seemingly indefensible. Or at least that is what I thought until I learned the actual size of size zero. Perhaps not everyone appreciates that the actual size of a size zero is slightly over a size 8 on what it used to be. I do not think that is bad and unacceptable. What I am concerned about is that that size has actually grown so much over time, like my men's M which is today a L in the rest of Europe. Reclassifying the sizes whilst under stable I do find rather disturbing as people don't even realise they are going up a size.

I hope that clarifies the point, I merely don't like seeing people become ill and our welfare bill going up.

I hadn't thought of it that way :(

I was more looking at from the angle of precocious pooch getting their paws or under belly dirty :D

Thats was what I was getting at, people perceive their size to be a lot smaller than it actually is.
;)

Not talking about pushing them about in that stupid dog cart, more the wheels like these

Fine if it's a young dog that can cope, but I;ve seen some what I can only describe as outright cruelty cases with old dogs
just to prolong life for the owners benefit, dogs don't look happy

Over weight doesn't always equate to unfit or ill. I've been out with skinny friends who can't even spend a couple of hours walking

True, either way the extremes are dangerous when they continue. As my grandmother said; everything with too in front of it isn't good for you.

It could be the dogs back end has gone, big dogs such as above and Great Danes etc do suffer the same problem. I had a Basset Hound, and it's back end got weak. Something like the above, would have been ideal to support the dogs back end. A walking aid for a dog, makes sense :)

Yep they can be great for a younger dog that is still active but cant walk far, but what I am talking about is putting an incontinent 16yo GSD with no use in
it's rear end in one and expecting praise from the world, when the dog is obviously struggling because it's front legs can't really cope either

I had to let my Basset Hound go when she could no longer support herself, she was fit in every other aspect. But the vet said it was the kindest thing to do, a sad day that was :(

Very sad indeed and at least you took the Vet's advice and did what was best for your dog.(y)

Was that in a dogalogue?

Sorry, that's the best I could come up with for now.

I know a woman who "walks" her two Pugs to the pub in one of those. Not much use for my two Mastiffs though...

We were camping at Spurn Point recently and saw a women with 2 dogs and she took them everywhere in one of these, around the campsite she carried them. Substitute kids, I thought.

Cheers.

Dog buggy? Surely the Americans have come up with a better name. Like Pooch-Master 2000, or Mut-matic, or,... We'll post your suggestions.

The Dragadog GT.
Available in a variety of passenger capacities to suit your "poo" or "doodle" of choice.

Don't know why we are messing about with this nonsense, why not go straight to the end game we know it is inevitable. Just go straight to a large electric wheelchair where both dog walker and dog can get in, and be done with it. Hmmm perhaps just use a car to walk the dog and wind the window down...

Because I've yet to meet a dog that could drive a car :):p

Oh man you haven't lived if you haven't come across a driving dog ;)

Seen them already. Owner takes the dogs out for their "exercise", lets them crap wherever they want to then leaves it. After all, they can't pick it up, they're disabled... Doesn't stop them getting up the steps into the bookies or pub.
