Oh no... Another 365!

Think I'll stick it in the "things I've done" pile.
I'd forget a 52 or 12 probably lol, and if I didn't manage that many then may as well sell up!
Of course the other side of the coin is that I'll probably miss doing it if I decide not to.

167,
another one of Star in the garden. Absolutely killed me taking this, she kept running to me when I lay down, so I ran up the other end of the garden and over she came. This went on way too long for my liking!

Thanks :)
As you can see I didn't have time to get it straight, but I sort of like it wonky

Cheers, I think I agree, more intimate

Day 168.

Just been messing around, thought I'd try shooting glass on a black background. Initially I wanted to get the stem decorations but I think it looks cooler quite dark :D

Think you have got a good composition there, but it's just too dark for me. I reckon with a bit of bounce flash or other light source it would accentuate the shape of the glass.

Here is a slightly brighter one I did at the same time SM.
I just thought the darker one looked more sexy :D

I prefer that, just a little lighter, but looks sharper too and the glass is clearly defined, thanks ;)

Luckily nobody noticed that I cut the bases off in camera:suspect:
Ooops :bonk:

169,
My life just turned upside down for a few days.
Relegated to watching the British Grand Prix on the box, 2 tickets just turned up!
I am, well... happy! :D
I wonder what the next 3 photo's might be?

It'll be Jenson.
Day 170, Silverstone first practice.
Just a resize on this, no crop, hardly saw Jenson in this session buy got loads of Rubens.

Great shot Cyclone, lovely colours too. I'd like to see it with the car at the top cloned out too ;) but that's just me being picky :)

My next door neighbour works for Renault F1 team, should ask him about tickets one year ;)

So does my Dad.
What's your neighbours name?
They get 1 ticket each, if they give up other things. To get 2 my Dad has to buy one off somebody else, also some of them pair up, so bloke 1 takes ticket off bloke 2 and takes his Mrs. Next year bloke 2 gets bloke 1's ticket.

Nope, doesn't know him.
Said does he work in the wind tunnel as he only knows about 2 people over there?

Can't remember his job title, I know he drives the trucks sometimes and seems to do a bit of everything. I would go around ask him, but obviously he's at Silverstone :D

If he drives trucks then he's most likely race team. My Dad is factory based in R&D, never gets to the races.
People think that all F1 staff are globetrotters, but it's only race team that do that really and they put in some serious hours!

171,
a crop into Alonso in Saturdays Qualifying.

172,
reds over Silverstone, fantastic to see.

365_172.jpg

This racing cars round the track thing will never catch on, it's really boring!! :p

What's the point??? :p and planes with coloured smoke??? Who wants to see that?? :p

God, I hate you and your silverstone tickets!!!! :D ;)

PMSL,
IF there's one next year and I get tickets and you want to go, I'll put you up for the night :D

173,
this ball turned up in the garden and reminded me of a shot I've seen before, so not my idea and the definition of the light is a bit poor as I made my snoot out of an Elmlea pot and a used kitchen roll tube.

365_173.jpg

I just took a setup shot actually, give me a couple mins and I'll post it.
You might laugh.

Cool ta.
Here's the setup shot, easy to figure out though.
Best to use a proper snoot, if you use a cream pot like me then line it with silver foil :D

The red bit is sparkys tape btw :D
I should go on blue peter me.

I would think the longer the better, up to a point where it makes no difference.
Pringles tin should be ok to go over the flash but you'll need something narrower for the other end.
I used scissors to cut a circle out of the base of the pot.

It's ok, Vicki was here, looking at me like I'm a mentalist.
