Oh no... Another 365!

Cheers guys.
Sean, we travelled over 100 miles to see this today, worth it, but knackered now!
I've put some more in the motorsports section.

Right,
I've been super busy lately, so apologies for not keeping up with the forum and a couple of pretty lame photo's.

Bit of a public service this one, don't eat these! They just taste of egg and wrongness to me.

365_54.jpg

And last night's serving of pancakes. I usually make a stack, but the new pan is massive so it doesn't look very impressive as a photo.

365_55.jpg

Have to agree with you on the builders breakfast crisps not very nice at all, infact none of these new flavours have been very good whats wrong with salt and vineger, cheese and onion and chicken flavours anyway, don't need any of these new fangled flavours .

Nice waterdrop like the colours looks a little noisy though.

Sean

Noise is probably due to a heavy crop, and maybe a little soft, but i like the trippy colours :)

Yep, you're right.
I don't have any macro gear, and been short on time lately so it had to do.

LOL, they're no good anyway.

Yesterdays, taken while out in the countryside waiting for a phone call.

365_57.jpg

Todays, first signs of spring.

365_58.jpg

There are actually a few daffs out locally, but I didn't fancy creeping about on somebody's garden to get the shot!

Roll on spring, nice spot just starting to get signs of spring here too, still bloody cold though

Sean

Day 59,
Vicki and her friend Stacey getting ready for a staff night out.

365_59.jpg

Day 60,
I noticed the clear sky last night, so tried a long exposure. It'd be better if I picked a better location.

365_60_2.jpg

Sorry, forgot to say.
Thanks for looking guys!
I've not had much spare time again lately. I'll try to catch up with you all soon.

Nice star trails there mate good capture

Sean

To be fair it was pretty easy,
set tripod up in the garden (and point camera roughly north),
set bulb exposure,
press go on remote shutter then go and watch telly,
come back a bit later (30 mins ish) and press stop.

Day 61,
I feel like I'm a comic book character.

365_61.jpg

Day 62,
ok ok, it's a bin.

365_62.jpg

but we've only just had wheelie bins here and it's the first time I've put it out, and this is a 365, so that's ok.

Had nothing to photo today, then my Dad turned up with a pressie.
4GB RAM for my iMac :D

365_63.jpg

I had it installed and up and running about 10 mins later.

Like the comic book effect mate, 4gb nice 1, have 2 in my Imac at the momment and 4gb in my HP laptop I keep meaning to switch the sticks around so they both have 3gb I'll get round to it eventually like a all those other things I keep putting off or can't find time for.

Sean

Comic book thing was a total cheat, you get it free with photo booth on a mac :D

I'm a non hero type character...

My mates transformer is a bit of a hero though.

365_64.jpg

More fun with the grid spot :D

Day 65.

365_65.jpg

This is the model car I used while competing at the European Championships in the South of France in 2007.
It hasn't featured before as after 2007, I found I couldn't look at my gear any more. Today my "pit bitch" picked it up and started looking at it, and suggested we make a comeback and try to qualify for the 2012 World Championships which will be held in the UK.
Currently, I'm unsure what to do, but I am leaning towards having one final go at it, the only hurdle really will be funding the whole idea.

Grid spots are cool did you make yours out of straws like mine ? Really liking the transformer looks very cool, oh no not another radio control car I keep seeing Mole2k's shots of his and I reall want one now stop tempting me

Sean

It's one of the cardboard types, I think the straws would be better though.

Time is still an issue I'm afraid an it shows in these photo's unfortunately...

Day 66, we play snooker most Saturday nights, the owner does a good deal where you buy beer and get the table for free! This is Tom about to break off.

365_66.jpg

Day 77, my Uncles 40th party (actually it's his 40th today), my Nan enjoying half a Guinness after the meal, she'll kill me for this.

365_67.jpg

Day 68, the sore throat is back, so out come the lemons and a hot lemon and honey before bed.

365_68.jpg

Day 69, my job took me past my old school, I wasn't expecting to be working till 11.30 so had little choice with this shot. If the school was in a different place I wouldn't have recognised it, the white building is new to me, used to be a playground!

365_69.jpg

Liking the pool shot mate just the right DOF and the lighting is spot on .

Cheers mate, I used the Sony P&S.

Day 70,
Boring shot, I put Linux media centre on the laptop, looks cool and integrates with loads of things in the house, if you have the devices to go with it, which I don't.

365_70.jpg

Day 71,
Went to see my Mother and one of her cats "GT" who has had to have an eye removed. He's actually fine, seems much more happy without the bad one!

365_71.jpg

Day 72,
Poo cat again, this is a typical cleaning pose for him.

365_72.jpg

Day 73,
I found this little fella on the patio, the white bits are cat litter that's in a flower bed to compost. After the shot we chucked him in the pond.

365_73.jpg

Day 74,
Spring has sprung here, seemingly overnight. I got a couple of shots of birds in the garden but nowt great, so this seagull will have to do.

365_74.jpg

He's fine, seems much happier now than he was before.
I think it may have relieved him of some pain...

Some great pictures here Cyclone!
Glad to hear the cat's feeling better :)

I like the gull picture; you're very brave looking straight up at a gull like that! :D

Cheers Kay.
I'm sure people can tell, I've been short of spare time lately!

Day 75, very nice day in the garden.

365_75.jpg

Day 76, Fred will be in trouble sleeping on clean washing!

365_76.jpg

Day 77, just about caught this robin pulling a grub out of the garden.

365_77.jpg

Day 78, visited my Nan and Grandad, had lunch in the garden and decided to grab a shallow DOF shot of the washing line.

365_78.jpg

Day 79, still good weather, so took a few of Star prowling about the back garden.

365_79.jpg

Day 80, the first day of spring, get it? :D

365_80.jpg

Day 81, Liverpool 5 Aston Villa 0. Football isn't my thing but I live with a Villa fan, so this made me chuckle.

365_81.jpg

Day 82, a nice mug of Horlics in bed.

365_82.jpg

Day 83, lack of inspiration led me to take a photo of Vicki's spare wheel, I quite like it though.

365_83.jpg

You should give it a go, masami's gone now that opens up another A-final spot :p.

Come over and do the irish GP on your comeback tour! www.irishgp.co.uk

Day 79 is striking. I am enjoying the selection of shallow DOF images too.

Day 75 is great, I also really like both the cat pictures, the prowling Star especially :)

Thanks so much guys.
I've had so little time for forums lately, I'm annoyed I don't have the time to catch up with everybody.
I'm very happy people like the cat shots, as it's easy to like them when it's your own pet, it means much more when other people like them too.
