Cheers mate.
D700 just went past 9000 clicks, it's brilliant.
I'm not missing the crop factor, I thought I might because of the motorsports stuff, weird.
17mm on FX is awesome fun, bokeh is nicer with the nifty, highISO is silly.
Most of the stuff on here for the last couple months is off the D700.
The shutter on the D80 feels terrible now, just sounds so slow, I daren't touch the P&S
I do want the Nikon 1.7x TC to go with the 70-200 though, should work very nicely on the D700 and if I did need that extra crop factor it'll all fit the D80.
Foot is a lot better today, I had to change the dressing, (Nurse told me to do it Saturday) there's still a deep hole in it and stuff oozes out, but it's much less painful and I can pretty much walk normally now.
219,
took a load of shots in the garden, but i won't bore you with more of Star.
Cheers guys, it's my shed btw.
Shot at 200mm f/4, hmm, haven't been able to do that before...
Bokeh courtesy of the lens that allows me to shoot at 200/4
222,
oops forgot my 365, but I did a spot of lens testing earlier, lucky me.
Just goes to show a boring shot is a boring shot no matter what you try and do to it
It was pleasant enough...
Not carrying my camera gear would have made it more enjoyable
I did spend some time at a pond, trying to get a dragonfly in flight, stupid thing kept moving about all erratically. It was hovering close to me but only stayed still when it was below minimum focus distance.
