aye the 28mm is.. usually need the 15mm... but then you get distortion.. :)
The Voigtlander 15mm is a reasonably "straight" lens but you do need to use it with discretion. This interior nearly works...

Yeah I have the voigtlander 15 vII... but I found that the left and right sides have a huge chromatic shift (one is purple the other green).
Seen this minorly on the 50mm 7artisans too.
Possibly a weird light reflection.
I usually convert the 15mm to black and white as this negates the colour shift

On the 28voigtlander, all is ok until I put on the big stopper. Getting a lot of reflective colours, both the welding glass and the proper big stopper glass. For which I will need a nice view and plenty of time, sunshine and patience...

Currently pondering the ttArtisans 21mm f1.5....

coding the lens ... in the camera (with black and white paint/marker?)
or in LR?

I have a saturation problem - I always want more... but that emphasises the problem...

No, for the M9: there is Lens detection - Manual you get to a list containing this item by pressing the MENU button.

Press SET

Select #11134
by pressing SET

And then: Enjoy ! :)

@Adam : Why wait any longer ? The sooner you buy, the sooner you save € 3300 (vs. the Leica Summicron) ... :)

ebay has an offer ending today, 10% off orders (inc best offers) max £50 off £500 order

discount code TIMEFOR10 (you should see it as an offer on the product page, so don't buy blindly expecting it to work!)

I used this to order a fantastic condition Nokton 50mm 1.2, offered £650 cost me £600.

Look forward to using that on the M9, when I was shooting live music it was 50/2 ISO800, 1/60th - be good to have a little more shutter speed to work with, and I'd like some shallow DOF portraits

no, Ffordes still have mine and haven't been able to recreate the problem last i spoke to them, but will chase it up Monday - really hoping it's down to the memory card.

So fingers crossed i'll get mine back and all will be well

That would be the black and white marks on the lens and lens detection on... I really do not remember. I did the white and black marker though... Doesn't always work for the 135mm...

No. The black and white marks make the lens "tell" the camera which profile to use. For this, select automatic.

If you select manual, you tell the camera which profile to use. For this, select manual.

A how-to for the M 240, for example :

(The Elmar is future-proof and I have used it on a high-res SONY A7R2, too. On a live view M it should also be easier to use than on my M9. But without IS ... --- )
