wandered into the local leica store.. .looked at the m11 ... and asked about a trade in with my current kit. unfortunately they only offered 2.4k for my current kit (gfx 100s plus fujinon 63mm) which wont get me anywhere close to the used prices...
I'm going to check with another store see if they can offer any better...

I think that's a good offer for the GFX kit tbh, not that that helps getting nearer to M11 cost.

Whenever I don't take my M9s out (as I didn't this week) I always pack my D-Lux 7 along with whatever else I take (this week the Bronica SQ-B and 2 X-T2s) just so I can contribute to this thread.

for a store... yup.
but as they do not want the other lenses and as you pointed out, doesn't close the gap to the 6k required for a body (8k if I go for a leica glass too!!) ... it'll just have to wait.

QQ if I may guys, your advice is requested.

My dream of owning a Leica someday is about to come true, yet for some reason I am hesitating. I have the opportunity to pick up a mint Leica Q2 Reporter for 4k.

With trading a camera I can afford the Q2 now, but unsure if this opportunity would present itself again.

Is this still relevant today, is it at the right price? or should I try to save more and go for the Q3 ?
