Looks like a nice one, the OM1n was my first proper camera after the tank-like Zenith E.
I've just bought this OM1n with 35mm 2.8 lens. Recently serviced and with a battery adaptor to use modern cells;

I don't really need two OM bodies but want the 35mm lens. I'll compare it to my OM2n when it arrives and decide which one to keep.
Cheers

I hope it works OK but those shutter curtains look very wrinkly to me. Check that the foam hasn't eaten part of the pentaprism silvering too. I had to replace the prism on my OM1 and pick all the old foam away from inside the top cover.
Cheers, I'll let you know when it arrives. From what I've been told it's pretty much un-used but I'll see exactly when I've got it.
Well, the seller was certainly right with his description. The OM1 MD has just arrived and looks like it's never been used!

The 35mm 2.8 is the same, I can't wait to use it now. However, this now gives me a tough decision between keeping the OM1 or OM2n.
Also, not really a new toy but my Provia has just come back from Peak too. I only posted it to them on Saturday so I think AG have lost my repeat custom from now on.

I really don't need two 35mm cameras so I'm trying to be decisive :0) I might have a think about it..
Stop it!
I'm already looking at moving back over to an M645J again which would mean buying a camera and that would mean I'd have to buy the 35mm 3.5 lens back that I sold to Moomike....why am I not a lottery winner.
Then again, looking at the quality of the slides I've just got back from Peak off my Yashica 635 makes me wonder if I actually need a 645 :0)
That OM1 does look pretty! The 35mm is a great lens too - one of my faves.Well, the seller was certainly right with his description. The OM1 MD has just arrived and looks like it's never been used!

Generous gift, I've seen these go for decent money on the web.
Just picked up a Nikon FE with a 105mm 2.5, the same type of lens Steve McCurry used for the Afghan Girl shot - very excited.
Choice of a few cameras here.

That's a very nice Contax (and Hassy). I've always fancied the Contax too but would have to sell at least one of my kids to fund it...always a silver lining eh!
I have a major case of GAS at the moment. Fancy getting myself another MF camera that I can walk about with. Currently I use a C220 and RB67 but neither of those are particularly light for walking round for a long time with. Hoping to go to Brussels with the girlfriend towards the end of the year and I'd like a shiny toy to take away with me, just not sure what yet! Got a couple months to save up so that should give me some research time![]()
