OFFICIAL I HAVE A NEW (FILM RELATED) TOY THREAD!!

Oh yeah, that'd make more sense! Cheers - there's a couple on the 'bay, I'll keep an eye on them :)

When I last looked the ones on ebay were going for silly money.

I got mine from Mr Cad. They don't have one showing on their internet site at the moment. It might be worth giving them a ring as not all their stock is listed.

Ooh good idea - they're only round the corner from me, too.

Lukas, have you bin and gone and bought an F100?

What, how did I now know about this place? I work right next door

Been given these, they both came with original cases(slowly coming apart) They actually looked kinda rough when I got them in my hands for the first time but after cleaning they are pretty neat!
Minolta came with that 45mm F2 which i read is very decent and Pentax came with a 28mm F3.5 (on the photos there's the F2.8 because i took the photo with the F3.5 on my canon with an adapter) Both work great and I'm soon going to put some film through both.

Cor, nice prime lenses! Definitely post some photos up when you've taken them :)

Lucky you, Cezar! I don't know much about the Minolta, but I've had a Pentax ME since new and it's a lovely camera (until you want some manual control, then you... don't get it!).

I have spent the last week chopping, grinding, filling, sanding and spraying and now have a Polaroid 150 converted to take pack film.

A few pictures of the finished camera :

I didn't take any photos along the way. There was no point really as I followed the tutorials posted here : http://www.instantoptions.com/conversions/

I surprised even myself to discover that it actually works. Apologies in advance for the boring photo but I was losing the light, it was starting to rain and I desperately wanted to take a picture of something to see if I had cured a light leak.

It is interesting with the FP-3000B film that you can also use the paper negative to produce a picture so I have included that here as well.

Just picked up a 127mm f3.8 C Lens for the RB67, paid £48 posted which i think is a bit of a steal. I needed something a bit longer for macro and portraits for the POTY this year. I used to have 90mm but it wasn't the right focal length for me.

David, what a great job, the camera looks a beauty, you must feel a great sense of achievement!

The first shots look pretty great too!

Great job David! Looks like it was always meant to be that way, really neat.

Thanks folks, I'm tempted to do another so I can have one loaded with colour film and one black and white film. :):)

Of all the film cameras I have owned over the last few years, the only one I truly regretted selling was a Nikon F2 Photomic. It had a 24mm lens that was a tad too wide for my tastes, and I had no other lenses so it was difficult to photograph much with the pairing. Despite that, the camera itself was a sensation, it was solid and a superb piece of machinery.

I have replaced it with a black F2A, which works with all my AI lenses obviously. It's superb!

Excellent, F2A's are very fine instruments, we need to see pictures:)

Not very exciting, but just got a nice little SB-23 flash for my FE2

Bizarrely, I don't think I've ever actually uploaded a picture of any of my cameras on TP (aside from sale threads). If I get the chance!

Ricoh KR-10M with 35-70mm lens. I happened to have a 24mm (I think) lens that fits that already.

Honeywell Nikor Q15 developing tank, says medium format on the box but inside it has two things I believe are called aprons for 35mm, and a separating plate.

Lastly... bit of an oddity...

My battered but still perfectly functional blad 500c. Serial number puts the body at 1971, back at 73 and lens at 75.
Only had it 4 weeks and I love it to bits!!

Absolutely, I was rather chuffed when she gave it to me. Its an autofocus, canons first foray into AF from what I've read. Tried it out with some cheapo batteries and it didn't do anything but click a bit, so I think new/better batteries are needed to bring it to life.
Viewfinder in it is fab, bigger and clearer than my AE1, as far as I can tell

Yeah, let me know how that lens works will be interesting. and talking about viewfinder size/brightness it's disappointing going back to my Canon 1000D after using my Pentax ME, canon is like looking through a keyhole at night!

Also I love getting free stuff from people, knowing that it was worthless for them and probably would have been thrown out! I feel like I'm saving lives haha

Just tried with some new decent batteries and sadly it just clicks at me, no working going on at all.

Yeah, switching from an eos5 back to a 30d, it's a small difference but it's certainly noticeable.

Yeah, I always drive away feeling like I've just rescued someone lol

Whew, I've finally done it! I have taken the plunge into medium format! I am now the proud and very excited owner of a Bronica SQ-A.

It only took selling several cameras, negotiating with HMRC to recover some overpaid tax, and auctioning off unused goods on eBay over the last couple of weeks to amass the money to purchase it.

The camera is in really good condition and I'm really enjoying the waist level finder. My only complaint is that the darkslide seems a bit fiddly in that it must be inserted into the slot perfectly, otherwise the shutter still fires. Unfortunately, I wasted a whole roll of film before I realised that... oh well, now I know to look out for this.

Anyway, pictures below of my new toy:
