Yoo hoo. Just dipping my toe into OCF. I have a Yongnuo 565EX II E-TTL. I've read up that my 60 can use the built-in popup flash to trigger the flash and i have used this function. I'm interested in buying a softbox for my speedlight. I have been on a lighting course which was in a studio environment etc but would like to get familiar and out and about with my new found desire to use OCF and techniques and lighting patterns learnt.
Ive done extensive reading on the subject and looked into lots of brands. As I'm only starting out with it I'm not going to invest a shed load of money in bucket loads of kit and expensive brands. I'm thinking an amazon special neewer box seems to have decent reviews and produce the soft fall off that I'm looking at achieving.
So.... my question... eventually I'm probably going to look at the new 622c triggers as they have stonking reviews but for now does anyone have experience of using a small softbox 24x24 and the built-in pop up trigger as a fill and or trigger?
BTW go nuts, I'm not offended easily, and end of the day I want to learn
cheers
Nathan
