Thanks for the links ,just wondered if they'd unlock it so soon ;-)Contract phones on O2 are unlocked at no cost and it does not void any warranty as far as I know. The link HERE is talking about the iphone, but it applies to other makes too. There's a link on the page to the O2 unlock request page, but it's HERE anyway.
I used it quite some time ago, I wasn't moving from O2 but would prefer that any phone I have isn't locked to a particular company.

Don't even go there about 3mobile ,I've just canceled a contract with them (for free:-D ) for their poor coverage in and outdoors .to be honest i dont see any signal drop indoors or outdoors on the iphones.
i think it depends on the transmitters though, 3 for example on their coverage charts show whether signal will be available in or outdoors.
There's been real bad problems the network in my area no mobile internet inconsistent signal for the past 6 months.pitty, i find them the best down saaf in the areas i frequent![]()
