P3172433.jpg by Keith, on FlickrNice shots Keith, think you picked the best one for the main thread.
Thanks, yes agree about trying to get each quarter different/definedInteresting to try to choose between the first two .. I like the first better. As the more defined colours in each quarter fit better, and the larger stained glass portions feel more proportional.
It has a nice flag-like feel to it. Nicely centered, horizontal and vertical too.
Cheers, tried focus on glass and garden and glass was betterFits the bill nicely. Good dof to highlight the glass.
Thanks, I asked them if they wanted a biscuit, seemed to get their attentionCatching up: Two great sets Keith
Full: I'm liking the shot of the back of your car the best, especially with the dogs peering back at the camera
Patterns: I think that you chose the right shot for the main image but I like the coin shot as well
Thanks, hadn't thought of the B&W still got that to doBoth good Keith.
Coins might work in B/W.

DSC00219.jpg by Keith, on FlickrThanks. Yes it’s pretty busy there when the laburnum is in flowerNice set Keith. Visited Bodnant a couple of years ago when the laburnum was in flower. Spectacular, but there were too many people around for me to get a nice shot.
Thanks, assume that’s goodNice set of pix Keith. No1 looks an ideal spot for a four seasons set![]()

Thanks, we were there Monday probably the only day this week when enough light for a decent shadowA lovely and spectacular tunnel. I like the sunlight creating the patterns on the path.
Thanks, thought a low angle would have worked but think the one I used worked quite wellLovely tunnel, nice viewpoint to get the detail in the roof and the shodows curving round the path on the ground.
It is quite impressive when in flower, must remind Cobra to have a flower theme late MayA nice group. Your chosen shot works for me - the curve leads the eye into the image. That's going to be spectacular when it flowers.

Thanks, have a few hills around hereYou cant get more classic than a Spring Lamb. I like the angle of the Lamb on the slope, really nice composition.
Thanks, bit of a thing Welsh lambReally like the pose and composition you have got for this image, that's two Welshman with spring lambs!
CheersFine spring pix Keith![]()
ThanksA very nice selection of shots.
Thanks good catch upGetting time for some catch-up comments:
Letters - All worthy of the theme, the second is my favourite for the detail.
Kitchen - My OCD would have kicked in and wanted to make the horizontal tomato sit upright!!
Composed well and fortunate (normal?) for all the bottle rails to be filled.
Broken - It is well and truly damaged, shows the power of nature. I'm sure money is spent on other projects that seem less important than the bridge. If the purse string holder was affected I'm sure it would have been given more impetus to get fixed.
Full - The log fire looks very inviting with warm pleasing tones.
Patterns - I like the second one as each quadrant is better defined. I think I'm getting pareidolia looking at the coins!
Tunnel - Looks like it is an impressive canopy when in full bloom. Amazing that it has flowered every year, are some flowers everlasting?
Spring - The first one is posing nicely for you.
Thanks, she is a labradoodle, but has the energy of a spaniel and never stops once we get outSome good shots. I really like the dog pic.. you've captured some real action in it.
Thanks, will get her looking towards camera one dayGreat set Keith, I really like the action that you've caught in the dog shot.
Thanks, apparently 48 laburnum trees make up the tunnel, they live 30 to 40 years so trees are replaced when they die, suppose its like triggers broomTunnel - Looks like it is an impressive canopy when in full bloom. Amazing that it has flowered every year, are some flowers everlasting?
Thanks, she would do that all day if we let herTunnel - You picked the best shot there. Great image, love the leading line it provides.
Spring - I like your lamb pictures, but for me I am leaning towards your dog jumping in the air, its a great action shot!
Thanks, she loves fetching/catching the ballNice set but I do rather like the dog pic, he seems full of the joy of spring.

DSC00524.jpg by Keith, on FlickrThanks, I prefer the street shot as well but wanted to leave that as colourGreat set Keith. I think that the second and third shot work best for the theme but the story for the first shot really makes it great.
Thanks, that’s exactly what I thought of, the handrail has seen/felt many hands over the yearsLike the handrail. That's where my mind went. Like the rails at theme parks where many many hands have rubbed along leaving a smooth finish that's worn through paint etc.
Nice interest from the stones in the wall and the dyl adds to the shot. Well spotted.
Thanks, its still on the high street but tucked away in a corner next to the stocks- hope to get a suitable theme fot them one weekI like the back story of your chosen image. What a fascinating object which has had various uses.
Thanks, think you are rightSecond shot for me, but interesting story on the first one.
