Decided to use the pic of the Alwen reservoir dam, completed just over 100 years ago and holds back 3 miles of water so fairly robust. Water is piped to Birkenhead and the Wirral

Thanks, yes it’s a nice area, quite a few walks around the Alwen reservoir, lots of conifers and wind turbines as well. Will try and get some pictures from the water side of the dam sometime.

Thanks Bill, pretty sure it is a mill, meant to ask but didn't see anyone in that area.

Thanks Peter, there are a few reservoirs around here- it rains bit in Wales I quite like the Allen as they have the tower area and in front of that there is a viewing platform.

Dam that's the best image! Good set, I really like the anvil shot as well.

Thanks Dave, as soon as I saw the weather vane I knew it would fit the theme, the building it is on is right on the coast, suspect north has rusted away

Rubbish - the very grubby dog made me laugh but I do like the picture composition on your chosen shot.

Thanks Helen, yes stile is a bit different, my daughter has started dog grooming and she has said she hopes no one sees Charlie looking like that , he is not a good advert when wet

Thanks Adam, yes he likes the water We have another dog which loves the water, could not see her on the beach one day- looked out to sea and it looked as though she was surfing the waves. My wife was panicking, the dog though was still wagging her tail when she got back.

Week 24 sound

From my daughter's teenage years, I had planned a sound from the babbling brook pic but life got in the way, my daughter suggested using this old guitar, excuse the packing tape and she said some of the sharpie colours have faded over the years- green the worst she reckons
