Week 21 Figures & Tech B&W

Artwork of Rhyl heroes Sir John Houghton, the Nobel prize winning climate scientist and former Rhyl Grammar School pupil, musician Mike Peters, lead singer of The Alarm, and Rhyl FC’s Don Spendlove, who bagged a record of 629 goals during the 1940s and 50s, have been placed at the gateway to the bridge. Flowers on Mike Peters figure as he recently passed away

Nice shots Keith. Second shot is clever.
Thanks Simon
Your chosen image is very eye catching - well done!
Thanks Paul

Yes think the family figures shot is much better.
Think the main issue with the Rhyl shot is the background and the bench a couple of feet in front of the figures, pretty sure no option of getting a good background except through editing, might try that.

Nicely done Keith. Almost looks real and would have fooled me if I wasn't familiar with it :)

Thanks Dave, they are quite realistic.
I should have asked someone to pose with the figures, maybe next time we are down there.
Interesting figures I like the silhouettes better
Thanks Allan, think the Rhyl figures would look much more impressive if at a better location.

Thought that these were real people... :D . Excellent capture.

Thanks Bill
They do look pretty realistic but nobody is on a phone  :)

Week 22 Vertical

Dr Evan Pierce memorial garden and statue, he did a lot of work during the cholera outbreaks in Edinburgh and Denbigh. Statue was erected during his lifetime which is quite unusual.

Week 24 Street with a bit of track
Hoped to get a train coming up the road but was told next train would be at 12:00 in 2 days :)

Mr Beeching would have something to say about the timetable ! I do like the steam train road sign, would have been tempted to make more if it.

Thanks Alan, I had thought of that at the time but as I was pretty sure I would get a pic of the train on the street I just did a quick shot as back up. Found out later it was a 2 day day wait for the train.
Certainly different!
Thanks Paul

That's a good one Keith, looks like you got a little black one ready to go down the track.

Nice, I looked at the shot before reading and just assumed the smoke/ steam was a train. I agree the curving track really makes the image.
