SE = Silly Edition I guessAny idea what the difference is with the SE version and the regular? The spec sheets look identical on Nikon home page.

ICM Waves 5 by Graham Elliott, on FlickrTo be honest it felt ok with the N10 battery pack, the N11 on Z7II feels a little nicer but not huge difference, I only upgraded as got a really good deal on ex demo Z7II so it cost me next to nothing to changeHas anyone with the 500 PF moved from Z7 to Z7 ii?
I realise the proper grip for the ii helps, but apart from that any other improvement?
Anyone picked up a 40mm f2 yet, thoughts?
I‘ve been thinking about one as a small walkabout lens for my Z6.
Cheers Chris. From what I’ve seen it looks a bit of a steal for the money, although I’ve read a few reviews that claim it’s not stellar wide open.Yep, mine was delivered the other week! I haven’t had as much time to play with it as I’d hoped, but early first impressions are great. It’s tiny, even lighter than I’d hoped (as in barely noticeable), and looks nice and sharp. I haven’t taken and photos I’m proud of yet with it, but will try and share a few testers when I get a chance over the next few days for anyone thinking about getting one!

Always liked the D850 and secretlyIt is amazing how much weight savings there are with the mirrorless isn't it. Once I had convinced myself these tiny cameras packed just as much punch I have never looked back since.
I think I’m going to put some black insulating tape over the Nikon badge on my new baby when it comes, just for protection you understand (not sure if it will be for the cameras protection or mine thoughI have just pressed the button on a Z5
Need now to move on my 6d and a couple of old lenses.
Don't tell the missus!! She may spot Nikon on top as opposed to Canon
Anyone else waiting for a Z9 to ship?
I know. I keep looking at my Z7ii and thinking, are you still here?Yep
Is it here yet?
*Drums fingers....

and repeat
But surely she doesn’t want to see her Christmas present, what else would be delivered at this time of yearMy initial problem will be when parcel is delivered
If I can get it upstairs to my den unseen I may just get away with it

I suspect if it’s successful a full frame ZFC of some description will be along at some stage.Rightly or wrongly I think aesthetics of a camera should be considered along with the standard feature set when making a decision.
I love the retro inspired Nikons of late and wish they would make a full frame mirrorless camera akin to the DF.
do you think I’ll ever see this?
I’m looking at March date according to where I put in my pre order…… may need to turn of the internet until it arrives. Was hearing NPS should be getting theirs in the coming week thoughAnyone else waiting for a Z9 to ship?
Where did you hear NPS are getting them so soon?I’m looking at March date according to where I put in my pre order…… may need to turn of the internet until it arrives. Was hearing NPS should be getting theirs in the coming week though
NPS member was telling me, not sure how true it will be but certainly that’s the expectation. Only time will tellWhere did you hear NPS are getting them so soon?
I might ask and see. Mid dec was the earliest I’ve heard mentioned at all.NPS member was telling me, not sure how true it will be but certainly that’s the expectation. Only time will tell
I've not had anything back from my email but haven't had chance to phone up.I'm an NPS member and registered to go on the priority list the day of the launch. I spoke to them yesterday and was not told it would be that soon. I should know more tomorrow or Thursday.
my gut feeling is no, the zfc has had a lot of praise but is aimed at being a cost effective, smaller camera, useful for vloggers and travel etc. The Nikon DF was very much a marmite camera and expensive for the spec to boot, I can't see Nikon repeating that mistake. I wouldn't be surprised if they bring future retro styles cameras to market, I just can't see them being full frame.Rightly or wrongly I think aesthetics of a camera should be considered along with the standard feature set when making a decision.
