Nikon D850 this year?

I'll be surprised if Nikon combine a 42mp and the D500 AF system, it wouldn't be like them to make one body that contains everything when they can gimp two bodies and sell them to different markets...

AF systems tend to filter down, the D810 and D750 both inherited a version of the D4(s) AF system so I don't see any reason why the replacements won't inherit a version of the D5's (essentially the same as the D500)?

be nice if they did, considering all thats going on with the A9 and its issues, this Nikon could if they play it right be a right beast.... lets hope they don't milk the tech and instead go all hands to the pumps...
