Nikon D80 memory card capacity

Hi all

Sorry if this has been asked before but just wondering what the maximum SD or SDHC memory card the D80 will accept.

I use a 4GiG SDHC in mine. I'm not sure of the max size though

My father just fell into this trap and bought a half price Canon compact (can`t remember the model), but he only bought it for snapshots and gets about 1300 shots at full quality, I can`t see him ever reaching that quantity. He thinks i`m batty when I take 2 or 300 in a day :lol::lol:

I remember telling my dad that I took 800 photos at a polo tournament. His eyes nearly popped out and he said "That must have cost you a fortune!" Bless. :D
 
Thanks for the responses, just wanted to be sure before I splash out. :)
 
Tried SDHC cards in my D80, was 4gb ones, but they were too slow, the camera would stop dead while it cleared out the buffer. Now only use 2GB Extreme III cards, can just about fire continuously in RAW using the ExIII's.
