I wonder if it will sit between the D800 and the D600?
I think it's more likley to sit between D7100 and D600!

If it does get released and is classed as a pro body as the D300s is, the order probably would go:
D4
D800
D400
D600
D7100 and so on..

Find it funny that Amazon have actually increased the price of the D7000.....
Looking for a little lens advise! Only one I have is the 35 1.8G and will probably add the 50 1.8G as well but just wondering what I should be looking at wider?
Possibly thinking about another wider prime perhaps in the 20-24mm range and then adding an UWA lens for when I need it (8-16, 10-20 or 11-16?)
UWA I'm happy with and would possibly go for the cheapest Sigma 10-20 as I've had a adele on other bodies but in regards to a prime in the 20-24 range which one is worth buying?
If you can't find it its custom setting c3.
Give's a little more hope. By the time I have the money together for a new camera I should have a better picture.
As a middle-class DX-format D-SLR, it features a highly sophisticated design, which satisfies pride of ownership.

I think the only worthwhile upgrade to be had for my D90 is much higher ISO.
D7000 1,167 ISO vs D90 977 ISO I don't think these camera's offer that. I'd need to go full frame to get a stop and a half of a difference. D700 2,303 ISO.
I think the D90 will do me until the d700, 2nd hand, comes down in price.

Everyone bangs on about the D7000 being much better at ISO noise but as you can see from the figures, it's only a third of a stop better...

Could I ask where these figures come from please?
Wondering how my D3100 stacks up as its bugging me that a D7000 would be a step up in ISO.![]()
?? was meant as a bit of fun - apologies as I clearly offended. That's going to change my life forever now!! Cheers.

Appear to be few bell ends on here offering little in the way of sensible or constructive comments.

Having played with my D7000 the only real annoyance I can find, is that the ISO button position is a bit stupid. I know you can change it to the function button, but you still can't rotate it on the dials. :-(
That's the least constructive comment in here yet! come on, please don't drag it down by slagging others off. Good man.

Easy ISO. Ok it hides the remaining frames but in aperture priority it makes life a ton easier.Having played with my D7000 the only real annoyance I can find, is that the ISO button position is a bit stupid. Easy iso?
Auto iso
No easy Iso, auto is a different thing again.
