not really botheredbout flippy scrren or video, is the AF that much better ? Still fancy the d610 but im also tempted by the 750
Whilst it doesn't matter per se, it is better if colours are right SOOC and saves a lot of time and stress in PP. My Sony's used to drive me up the wall, forever tweaking colours to get them right. With the D750 I very rarely have to tweak coloursI had D600, D610 and now D750. Just two points
1. IQ is similar apart from basic colour rendering (doesn't matter these days). This means the images produced will be similar with the same set of lenses and they are fantastic.
2. usability and features - I won't go into individual points, but just say that D750 is a fun camera to use and it is better than D610 when it comes to the experience of taking pictures. I have stopped looking at other cameras after D750.
AF - D750 is better and is perfect for action, sports and low light AF accuracy. I don't use much of D750's AF prowess, but one thing that I really like is AF performance in tungsten light. My D600/610 struggled in such lighting, but the D750 has nailed it every time.
My thoughts - buy the D750.
£51 exactlyD610 feels like a toy in comparisonm the D750 AF is worth the extra alone and a grey D750 isnt that much more than a non grey D610
So you do get that on the d750?Biggest difference that's stopped me picking up a d610 as a backup is no 100% zoom on OK button. So important for quickly checking focus couldn't live without it now.
Lol ive been waiting for youGuys just tell him to go out and take pictures with the camera he has. We need to give him an intervention. I am his gas sponsor and he seems to be having yet another relapse. Please don't encourage him!!!
Hi PeterChris;
What are you hoping to use a D610/D750 for?
Sports - General - Landscape - Portraits - Birding - Commercial - Advertising ?
Do you presently own any DX or FX Nikkor lenses....?....just curious regards your lens line-up Chris.Hi Peter
Landscale portraits general
No PeterDo you presently own any DX or FX Nikkor lenses....?....just curious regards your lens line-up Chris.
No Peter
Ive got nothing
Yeah d750 has ability to have OK button mapped to 100% zoom. D610 doesn't. Still thinks it's ridiculous that Nikon use that wee firmware change to differentiate models as once you get used to it it's hard to get out of the habit.So you do get that on the d750?
