Yes
not really botheredbout flippy scrren or video, is the AF that much better ? Still fancy the d610 but im also tempted by the 750

I had D600, D610 and now D750. Just two points

1. IQ is similar apart from basic colour rendering (doesn't matter these days). This means the images produced will be similar with the same set of lenses and they are fantastic.
2. usability and features - I won't go into individual points, but just say that D750 is a fun camera to use and it is better than D610 when it comes to the experience of taking pictures. I have stopped looking at other cameras after D750.

AF - D750 is better and is perfect for action, sports and low light AF accuracy. I don't use much of D750's AF prowess, but one thing that I really like is AF performance in tungsten light. My D600/610 struggled in such lighting, but the D750 has nailed it every time.

My thoughts - buy the D750.

I had the D600 and now D750. To add to Anibap's comments, the grip on the D750 is deeper which makes its much more comfortable to hold, especially with bigger lenses.

I have both and I largely agree with Anirban, but there's not massive differences between the two and the files are pretty much the same. I actually don't mind the grip on the 610 either so that wouldn't be a consideration for me. AF is better in low light, but for normal use, the 610 is perfectly adequate.

I had a similar dilemma when I had to buy my own camera after using a D810 for a year. As much as I wanted my own D810 I couldn't afford it, so it either came down to a D750, D610 or used D800e. I chose the D750 eventually (after a farce with a used D800e), it's newer than the D610 with an updated image processor and the low light performance (autofocus and ISO) is superb, even better than the D810. The dynamic range is meant to be better than the D610 too, how that plays out in reality I'm not sure. The D750 feels great to hold and is very light, liberating compared to the D810. If you can afford the extra £300 get the D750, it's a great all-rounder, probably one of the best cameras on the market at the minute

All I can say is I have a D750 and am very pleased with the camera, I really cannot fault it - best Nikon DSLR that I have ever had and the price these days is very good

no experience of the D610

The ergonomics of the D750 are worth it alone imo. AF is better, and although the flippy screen doesn't interest you for us that do a lot of low down landscapes it's a godsend ;)

Whilst it doesn't matter per se, it is better if colours are right SOOC and saves a lot of time and stress in PP. My Sony's used to drive me up the wall, forever tweaking colours to get them right. With the D750 I very rarely have to tweak colours (y)

Had a D600 and now a D750

Plus points:

1. The Grip - so much better and improved
2. The Screen (I had doubts at first)
3. The AF
4. Low Light Focus - this thing can literally focus in the dark
5. The size - which may sound odd as they don't differ much - but it feels much nicer!

Not really fair to compare grey price with UK price, should compare both as grey or UK then buy the D750 because if you get the 610 you will always wonder if it would have been worth spending a little? extra

Guys just tell him to go out and take pictures with the camera he has. We need to give him an intervention. I am his gas sponsor and he seems to be having yet another relapse. Please don't encourage him!!!

Lol ive been waiting for you ;)

Whichever camera you buy it will not give you what you are looking for because you don't even know what it is you are looking for.
Anyway heads up guys d750 and a couple of almost new lenses headed to classifieds in a couple of weeks.

You've got a perfectly good X100. Unless you NEED D750 low light ability or speed of focus get another X100 and some converters.
Or grab a film Leica and have some fun.
(Yes I know I've got a D750, but I've only shot 5 frames in 6 months)

No Peter
Ive got nothing
