I bought a Df, I'll never lose one again. Only cost me £1100.
Think I did rather have a 750 with a missing eyepiece tbh

The stupid bloody eye piece fell off my D750 so I need a replacement. Before I pick up the standard one, I wondered if anyone used anything else? Like a circle one that you get on the D810 etc?
That's part of the combo I have which looks like thisHow about this? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nikon-Finder-Eyepiece-For-FA-FE2-FM2-FE-FM/dp/B00005NPWA and the other two bits (scroll down a little). Someone has used the combo on a D610.

Not that I'm aware of. It doesn't look as big in the flesh but still considerably larger than the original.Ahh ... That eyecup looks big in the pic. Can you get smaller ones?
Where do you put or store your camera? I ask this as I did read that someone used to put their camera on the carpet and some carpet mites got inside and made home. As you said the spot /dust moved.Had a weird thing happen today. Had an artefact on some images today which looked like it was something possibly stuck to the sensor (much more than a dust spot and was only f8) but it wasn't there on the first lot of images, then appeared in exactly the same place on about 20 shots then on series of 3 shots moved across the frame to the right and then disappeared again and wasn't present on the rest. Didn't notice until I uploaded to the computer and so did some tests shooting at the sky and f16 and all it revealed was the much more subtle dust spots. Any ideas what it was?

Shouldn't do as it's weather sealed, but it's been on a tripod anyway.Where do you put or store your camera? I ask this as I did read that someone used to put their camera on the carpet and some carpet mites got inside and made home. As you said the spot /dust moved.
Just an idea.
Enjoying the D750's capabilities. Night shots are a breeze. (In case anyone wonders, no star filters used... 28mm manual PC Nikkor.)

I'm sure you meant small apertureDon't need star filters just a wide aperture gives the effect
Lovely image that really is nice

I don't need one with the D750. Because of its superior build quality.....No screen protector on there either by the looks of it

Mind you last time I took the pee out of people for losing their eyepiece. Mine fell off and found it in my bag [emoji33] [emoji33]

Thanks, big spec of dust thenThe black speck is most likely loose dust/grit that a blower should shift. If had that when the speck moves after each shot or so. The rocket blower has sorted it.
The white thing is an arrow.![]()

No, you habe to carry those around if you habe df so it knows where to focus [emoji33] [emoji33]Pretty poor shot with the arrow imo, missed the deer by miles.
That reminds me,Looks like I may have to try and hone my skills on artistic fog shots today [emoji34]
