Nikon D750 & D780

The sensor is just phenomenal. Got a new toy for my birthday, was testing it out but left the flash in ttl (grrrrr). Made a mess of the exposure and by the time I'd noticed, the moment had gone. The sensor made it a useable shot!!

Thanks for that link, Latitude has many amazing images there ok, great use of his fast lenses ok. How are you enjoying the 50/1.4 ?
 
I have a 'cream machine' f1.4g to try but it's got no body to try it on!

So far it's great. I think it's a must to have the dock aswell though. Being able to micro adjust the focus at 4 different focus distances is a great feature.

We're off to Manchester for the day tomorrow all being well and I'll just be going with the D750/50mm combo. Hopefully I'll come away with a few images.

I spent a little while with the d750/50 f1.4. Really enjoyed it!

I think I will buy the dock when the 85 art comes out[emoji6]
 
Used my D750 for the first of many weddings this year yesterday. Ridiculously good, it just gets out of the way and let's you shoot all day without worrying about anything. Auto ISO with a 12,800 ceiling and 1/160 minimum shutter speed, plus back button AF in AF-C (meaning AF-C and AF-S on tap instantly) meant I pretty much only changed aperture during the day (and occasional use of Highlight Weighted Metering, which I assigned to the Fn button).

50 Art was my bread and butter, first time shooting a wedding at 50 instead of 35, not too bad at all but on balance I think the 35 is the more versatile option and I find it has a nicer quality too it (can't put my finger on how, exactly).

The 135 DC was great fun to use as well, didn't once feel a 70-200 would have been a more practical option, keeper for sure.

The only thing I missed was the near silent shutter of my Fujis for the indoor ceremony.

Not been around much... mainly been working away in Australia (and it's bad enough coming up with this thread in real time let alone a time shift of +9 hours) Anyway, decided to take the 750 instead of my V2 travelling set. Last weekend's drive revealed this (and other stuff) ...
