Just goes to show, trying to keep your gear pristine isn't always wise. :exit:

Seriously, that ribbon has always worried me. Flip-round screens have the wiring internal - although I'm always concerned I might snap the whole screen off by trying to turn it the wrong way.

Hope the fix isn't too painful on the wallet.

I've never even noticed it

I've never pulled the screen 'out' tbh, only ever tilted it up

I only move it minimal amounts up or down.

I've certainly never tried cleaning behind it.

Hahaha...I was a regular AVF member with projector and audio forums. Then the photography bug caught me and I moved to the dark side of Nikon world.
I came to TP quite late, but I liked the interface much better and less cluttered than AVF and started participating here more and more.

And then the most unthinkable happened - The D750 thread. This is the only thread one needs in whole of TP as we discuss everything from...

D750 to dogs, cats, unrelated topic, screen protector, bags, Welshgasm, more unrelated topic, GAS that cannot be controlled, rookies and his lens dilemma, members returning D750 and buying back again, more and more unrelated topic, D810 dreams that bursts like popcorn in microwave, D810 members teasing us, D810 members selling D810 to buy D750, more rookies and the list goes on....

This has to be the best thread on Photography and now I am addicted to TP. Thanks guys...
