Nikon are quick enough to send out adverts, but you hear nothing about any problems directly from them. Very poor imho.

They should at least be emailing those who have registered any problem cameras, as well as letting it known about any recalls in magazines and websites.
 
I've always had an answer back from Nikon when I've enquired :confused:

Do you guys check your spam?
 
I emailed Nikon about the latest service advisory & received a very quick & polite reply confirming my D750 was eligible for the latest recall, there was also an apology for any inconvenience caused.

Try getting a response when you reply to them with a question.

I've had a back and forth conversation with them tbh. Obviously some companies reply via a 'no reply' email so maybe you got this depending on how you contacted them in the first place?

The first time was via their web site, and second was replying to the email, but he asked me for serial number etc, so I dunno what`s happening with them ;) Not overly fussed though tbh
 
Well after some discussion earlier with a pal. I am now considering selling my 24-85 and get the following lens

Tamron 24-70 2.8 VC
Tamron 70-300 VC

Both be under a grand in total and save money.

Sure you don't want a 70-200 2.8 or 150-600 or 35?

Just trying be sensible with cost. As those 2 lens be cheaper than a 70-200 2.8.

But what they like they seem get good reviews for their price

That's a bit of a change from what you were last looking at :confused: Thought you found the 24-85 lacking in range but now you're talking of getting something with even less, unless of course you're planning on taking two lenses everywhere?
 
Oh the sigma art 35mm is on my list to get lens I be getting that

Yup nothing decided just some ideas. Cost wise. Plus they both be easier take everywhere

Which is what I need decide on. I could get a 70-200 2.8 at a good price soon off someone. Or just save a lot of pennies and get a tamron 70-300 people seem to

I'm sure I mentioned the 70-300 about 100 pages back. Just buy it, no point on posting about it every page and wondering. You'll never end up with anything that way.

I am the type to buy once not buy and sell as I don't have that kinda funds keep wasting already have by coming back to d750 lol. But tbf my last one was faulty. I just can't believe the images this one throwing out

But the lenses you are thinking about are both decent so I'm sure you'll enjoy using them :)

Then decide on something and get it done with, you don't lose on used gear.
