Maybe, but I haven't actually moved over to anything else or bought anything else!
Neither did I

Oh, and your camera is filthy!!!! Nice lens though.![]()

Continuing the theme of tarting down my cameras, here's a pic of my new strap. Genuine, old school, Nikon AN-4B.

Lol fair point [emoji3]Don't be a hypocrite. At least I don't keep hold of a faulty camera and don't realise it for over a year. Good skills![]()
Been having a play this afternoon.

Thanks - yep, 24-85.Lovely shots Steve. 24-85 VR I am guessing.
Went to Bath today, with the intention of making the most of the camera.
In reality, Joseph needed feeding when we arrived, which meant we spent 1.5hrs in Starbucks - but I dragged the pair of them in to the Abbey for a couple of snaps...

Terrible, nasty, out of focus rubbish... I would send that camera back!

I see you've not changed your signature, in hope that I end up sending it back.
Joking aside, it's weird. I mean, the D7200 was good, but there's something about the images this camera produces which I can't quite put my finger on - and I'm sure I'm not even doing it justice, but it's great. And I feel bad for loving it when I see you longing for your camera back.![]()

Weird question, but with the very cold weather I've found that the viewfinder steams when I'm looking through it, obviously from my body heat. Anyone found a way to prevent this? (Other than not shooting in the cold)

I'm just hot stuff, what can I sayDayum, you must have a really warm eye ball
I think there`s stuff for motor cycle visors that might work. Or a tiny bit of detergent, but that might give you that OOF Canon look![]()
Yeah it's the kind of pretentious pic people like on exploreSo somehow, this shot has ended up in explore...

Just occurred to me that maybe it's because I have that modified eyepiece and it traps the heat as it 'forms a seal', might try with the original and see how I get on.
The fact it's in 497 (ish) groups might have something to do with it :0)
Took a trip to Bath this afternoon with a view to testing out the camera.

Thank you, George!Great set of images Steve, with some really nice detail and exposure, and a great mono portrait.
George.
Those are brilliant I've had them on both D7*** and D8** series bodies and so nice to use and once on are locked in tight!Have you guys seen this?
Hoodman Eyepiece - Matt Garnger and few other togs love it. Downside - it covers a part of the LCD

Do you stack you images for focus and exposure David or all single exposure shots? I'm off to Scotland in April and as much as I love wildlife I missed on last year by hardly taking any landscape and need to make sure I take some this AprilSo, today saw the sun shining! Decided to make a late trip over to a part of the Peak District I haven't shot before. Went in search of a particular place but got a bit lost and ended up looking at it from the other side of a hill and across a waterfall rather being at it. Nevermind, gives me another reason to go back! The weather was good but typically as i got there the clouds rolled in. I think perhaps this was a good thing looking back at a few of my shots.

I never had floppy screen so cannot comment sorry but know they rotate and rubber very soft so folds inwards on itself tooBut doesn`t that cause a bit of an issue when you want to use the flippy screen, or do they bend out of the way?

It's something I wanted them to release on D7200 and D810 but made in onto neither of themI must admit, I don`t use mine often. But they`re handy for macro and low stuff.
