Lol then u be back again. Well I can't talk can I lol
What u getting?
Bye bye, see you again in a month.
What now? Did you sell your 58?
Myself also! But with one who leaves, another arrives (with my old kit!)
Was just talking to a mate yes he a canon man at the moment but moving to Nikon d810 soon. He said he currently use the 70-300 L lens from canon. Ask what can he use for Nikon that be as good as he rate that canon lens highly
This thread isn't helping my 70-200 2.8 lust![]()
Thanks. Are you referring to the Kite when you say raptor?I second that, great shots especially the raptor with the 70-200
Thanks. Lol about the eyepiece, missed that
The 70-300's are cropped. Tiger is cropped quite a bit to 2418 x 1612, More than this and IQ started to suffer. Lemur only cropped 4808 x 4005, and squirrel monkey to 5503 x 3667.Was there much cropping to these or intact any of the images?
As mention my mate moving to Nikon but he loves his can 70-300 L. Will he regret the move. But I can't see much wrong with those 70-300 images snerkler
You might have just sent me over the edge!

The Nikon/Tamron are not in the same league as the Canon.
Your in same boat as me then
Well it's price reflective, the Canon is more than twice the price so it's going to be noticeably better. That's a shame I better warn him so canon got better lens set up

CheekyI'd tell him to move to Sony, they're brilliant.
I understand so what options he got if he wants quality. Am hoping get him over he really wants the 810 if he comes over we will share some lens ie the big tamron
Thank you will tell him about that one. Know Anything about it pal?

I may miss the 135L, but I do not miss white lenses!!!On the upside, they're not white...![]()

White Lens didn't bother me when I was a canon owner
You mean it made you feel like a pro, don't you?

DSC_0069.jpg by Andrew Rookes, on FlickrNot great at the long end IMO. I think the Tammy and Sigma are better at 400mm, plus then have more reach too.
Thanks. Neither do I, there was a big sign on the cage though which gave it awayI wasn't sure as I don;t know my birds of prey
Lovely lighting though, really nice image - that and the big cats, but the Kite was my favourite.

There's certainly something for everyone in this thread.Love this shot. Like fresh air in this thread [emoji3].
Which Sigma or Tamron pls as they don't do one like that just the big one we been talking about earlier.. That is a len we will get between us but want a lens he keeps on like the canon version so that Nikon looks close enough? Not great at the long end IMO.
