Couldn't agree more with you David. I tried a few at lower shutter speed, but without tripod most turned out too blurry. I have a few where I managed to get some motion. will post those later.Anirban, hard i know without a tripod, but if you could introduce some motion blur to the people, it would add another dimension.
Thanks GreggAnother cracker Anirban

Yes, and such images usually stand out.Yeah i thought that would be the case. Would love to shoot this kind of stuff. I've seen some great ones with people blur.

That a perfect picture pal. Did you use filters? Or fines some lovely processing [emoji106]
Thanks. I did try moving it but it's been there a few thousand years and it's pretty stuckNice. I don't think the rock on the right is adding anything though mate, myself.
Gregg, i reckon it'll be for sale soon...

Joking aside there wasn't much I could do as I wanted the sun and puddle central.
Went out without the tripod as wasn't planning on being out that late, and I wanted the sunburst effect hence the small apertureWhy f22 and iso 1100?
Gregg, i reckon it'll be for sale soon...
In a bid to continue using the 750 aswell as the 800, I went for a walk with the 20mm 1.8 this evening, awesome sunset, makes you feel all warm even though I was so cold that my n**s cracked off [emoji38]

Nice one. Love the colours.
Zoom wouldn't have helped, wanted the puddle in shot and to get it I was laid on the floor with the camera over a 'step'. Using zoom would have meant either not having the puddle, or being 'above' the 'step'. I don't just randomly select a focal length and composition you know'there wasn't much i could do'
With a zoom lens that was set to its widest focal length...
I saw it was a nice sunset. The colour was perfect. Orangey/pinky hue. Shame there wasn't much detail in the sky for you.
F16 would be sharper and still gives a nice starburst. It would also lower your iso and give you a bit more IQ and DR.
Anyway, I'm rambling. Fab shot mate, well worth the effort.
Thanks very much"Cracking" shot m8, beautiful colours & spot on exposure.
George.
Thanks mateNice one. Love the colours.
Got a link to those pictures?
Wow, this looks like a fairy tale kingdom! How do you make the sun radiate like that? Is it due to filters or does the camera just naturally make it like that?
Thanks. It's done by using small apertures, f16-22 usually does it, works with street lights etc too. In this case f16 didn't quite have enough of the effect so stopped it down further to f22.Wow, this looks like a fairy tale kingdom! How do you make the sun radiate like that? How much is that Dell?Haha, I'm pretty easy going matey and don't take myself too seriously so no offence was taken mate.
Re all the lens quandary on my part, I'm gonna stick with what i have. Just a bout of GAS.![]()
So I've spunked my money on a Dell 27" 1440p monitor instead.![]()
