Nikon D750 & D780

I tend to use an OpTech Strap but use it as a shoulder strap, I've got a couple of hand straps but I tend not to use them as its a hassle when also using with a tripod plate, I actually ended up using a Gordy strap when I was on holiday last year and it was great just for feeling like the camera was secured to my hand a bit more!

I actually use the SpiderPro Holster when I'm out hiking, with the D750 and a lighter lens like the 18-35 or a prime its just brilliant.

Think I might try the peak designs - birthday present from someone!

I also think that the crap i was seeing in the VF was actually stuff on my focusing screen. Lol. Needs a good hoovering out i guess.
I've got that too. This is by far the worst camera I've known for getting dust in (see previous posts about dusty sensor) but I see it as more as its character than as issue
If you do find a way to get the crap off the focussing screen then please let me know, I've been too nesh to try anything  :$

Just had an email regarding Calumet running 24 months interest free on all orders over £500 until Feb 22nd, serious GAS alert

They been brilliant on my recent purchase great price beaten the uk market for me. 0% [emoji6]

I just used a rocket blower mate. Seemed to work ok.
Not shifted the anything off the focus screen on mine. Mind you I didn't put the nozzle into the camera itself, maybe I need to direct it more at the screen?

Thats the dangerous sort of deal that could see a D810 ordered....

I'm sure I have read somewhere, that the Giottos RB have a soft silicone nozzle so they would be unlikely to cause any damage when used. I cleaned one particle yesterday of my screen and had no problems going into the body area, just be sensible, which is hard for me:eek:

The one I use > http://www.amazon.co.uk/Giottos-GTAA1900-Rocket-Air-Blower/dp/B00017LSPI

The nozzle isnt silicone, its hard plastic, only the body is silicone.

You sure?

When I looked the body was made of rubber and nozzle silica gel. Hard plastic would be too rigid I would of thought for the design.

TBH I wouldnt pay £800 for a 2 year interest free loan when I can get 2 years interest free on a credit card and shop where I like. ;)
Very true, but it certainly gets the old brain ticking over with ideas ;)

But calumet will beat any prices no problem
At all so I just go through them.

Although these offers are tempting, I do hate getting stuff on credit. I'm always too aware of it in the back of my mind and it makes me uncomfortable.

Don't know how I can square that with having a big mortgage but somehow feels different :p

Credit card I try avoid if can as these if you don't spread payment and just pay minimum u buggered. Finance it all set up

Calumet is excellent. I bought several cameras and lenses from them. They also have these open days where they offer some items at a discount and free sensor cleaning. Two of their stores are close to where I work in London. They do match price.

I also won a Manfrotto Befree tripod in one of those open days

My tripod got nicked out the car when it was left unlocked overnight (oops) need to get around to replacing it sometime soon :/

Thank you thou so.

So what your gas now pal. Me ain't sure yet lol

X-Pro 2 and an assortment of primes or perhaps even an X-T1, depends on how I feel on the day, D750 will stay put, its to good for the money.

When u going get that?

I agree with @twist on this there are several card offering 24 months plus

True actually I do have a nice 0% offer at the moment... and Panamoz will take it!

Very expensive way of doing it on some things v Grey.... D810 Calumet £2200... Panamoz £1500 odd

When u going get that?

When Fuji pull their finger out and stop delaying it. Id like to test it first as I know what these hipster bloggers are like when it comes to Fuji releases, "oh, its amazing, its AF is so much faster, better ISO, better RAW, bla bla, bla" then I try it and find out its like 20% faster.

I'm in exactly the same boat, I have a hankering for the X-Pro 2 but if I'm honest its mainly a size thing... seeing some of my shots taken last year with the D750 certainly gives some pause for thought as as good as the XP2 will be its not full frame.... the D750 is an utter bargain just now for what it does!
