Nikon D750 & D780

Trying to keep up with this thread is difficult if you are at work all day. I've just wasted 10 minutes reading the last 4 pages, 10 minutes of my life wasted ;)
What do you mean, there's been some life changing discussions on here

Tbh I like the fact it's a little 'community';)

Love the fact that we have added 4 pages since this morning. We do talk some absolute b*****ks in this thread.

Yup, just taken me an hour to catch up!

So, for the record.....

Nikon 14-24 f/2.8 - always hankered after one when I was a canon shooter, don't use enough!
Nikon 35 f/1.4 G
Nikon 50 f/1.8 G
Nikon 85 f/1.4 G
Tamron 150-600 VR

Pretty much covered but I do want a 70-200 VII when the little lady is big enough for running after her with it. But, I'd gladly swap that out for a decent 135 prime, I loved my old 135L. The Tammy is just a bit of fun I bought a few months back. Always wanted to do an airshow so that's one plan this year. I also do think about a 24-70 for my indoor portrait stuff for flexibility, may pick one up at some point but not a lens that excites me, just handy to have.

That's a very nice lineup indeed

I thinking of doing the RIAT at fairford this year as the F35 should be flying. Im hoping to get down to my local show at Old Warden too as that's usually a good one. I was gutted to miss the Vulcan over the last few years, the weather on several occasions stopped it's flyby :(

I should look at the dates really as had my eye on that one too Rob. Wanted to do Mach loop too but haven't got any flexibility with work, understand it's a bit hit and miss these days.

Here's the situation with Canon Forums for bit of fun

Canon is the guy making the sketches and Woody's face is what the Canon users are feeling like :D Jokes aprt, brilliant this guy in Florence

Well, he wouldn't be as he would have never have taken them because he would have been too busy chatting s*** in here with us. :D

Or trying to fit a 'bubble free' screen protector ;)

Lol.

I have cleaned the contacts on my lenses and camera to see if it helps with this ERR issue. I have noticed that it is usually the first frame of the day or after the camera has been stood for a few hours. When i say cleaned i mean rubbed with my jumper. Also cleaned the lens mount too.

I took the lens off after it happened last time and could see the mirror lifted and the shutter curtains closed. Interesting viewpoint!

I also think that the crap i was seeing in the VF was actually stuff on my focusing screen. Lol. Needs a good hoovering out i guess.

As far as I'm aware RIAT starts Friday 8th July and the F35 is scheduled to fly every day. As I'm leaving skomer the day before it seems wrong not to stay nearby the night before and pop in on the way home. I've always thought of the Mach loop but it's too far for me to go with how hit and miss it is.

Doesn't cost a dime and you have all the fun of shopping

I got my new camera strap (after a close inspection of the old one, it was needed) and replacement screen protector today :D

Which screen protector?

After a fair bit of haggling with the original seller from amazon, I got another larmour (or whatever the damn things are called).

Thanks Rob, I'll look into it. Anyone here doing the Photography Show this year, thinking of doing the Sunday.

I'd be frightened to death of not lining them up properly and the camera dropping to the floor like a stone from the sky!

Nah, it's pretty simple to use, though I did have an expensive repair bill when my catch failed on my tripod head last year!

I have a hand strap as well, for summer use (not good with gloves).
