crap shot but wanted to show the sky colour just a few minutes ago

Funnily enough I got a shot of last nights sky on my way home from work. It was gorgeous wasn't it.

A lovely feeling of Autumn, especially the mist in background and subdued look, great

Totally agree here, that last one is a fantastic balance or reds greens and blues.

Thanks for the comments.

Surprised it's the last one.. considering it was a shot taken on my trek down from Mam Tor. I was defeated by the fog which was just getting worse and worse.

Ps I think I want to buy a drone... someone tell me I'm being stupid and don't need one.
My brother in law bought two drones, the first one kept on flying and never came back. The second one, he crashed it and smashed it up. It put me off the idea of getting one.

Much more fun smashing up your camera, by falling off a wall while trying to get an interesting shot. :)

Thats true although the manager in Jessops rekoned that all it did was shake the dust up.so not too sure how important it is

This particularguy i find him quite a genuine guy,hes a big fuji fan x100f at moment along with other makers but hes always happy to discuss and i like him

Sensor is same ,processor different, yes d3300 better lower iso but i think the 3400 has slightly better DR,

For some inexplicable reason Nikon decided to remove the sensor cleaning feature in the D3400 which probably put a lot of people off.

The in camera sensor cleaning is a sensor shake, the D5200 does it too. Apparently the D3300 has better ISO noise performance too, is it a different sensor to the D3400 or is it a different processor?
just looked at the menu on my D3300, and it says "Image Dust Off ref photo", not sure if that was the same wording on my old D60 or was it on the D80

Just read up on the Image Dust Off, I must be looking at something else...

As it says, "Image Dust Off' is a tool which, when activated, can remove dust from RAW (NEF) digital images"

Ahh my mistake, that was clean image not clean sensor. :$ Just found the Clean Image Sensor...

Never used either, so never took much notice.

I've got the D3300 for Dummies book which I think you might find helpful ;) Quite a large file though.
