Taken about 40 mins agoLovely sky, almost an incandescent WB setting. Those street lamps look like the new ones fitted in our street. Almost has the look of war of the world alien eye camera.
Looks like we are all happy, well some of us are.Just been checking prices of the D3300 and realising I got a fantastic deal on my D5200
Good result, just like new.The shutter count on mine was under 600 when I picked it up too, the guy selling it said it just listed it as hardly used.
Why did you change that for the d3300?CEX still have my almost new d3400 for £245 ,it had done about 200 shots or so ,it was Spanish ,bought from Ffordes
I was getting a little puzzled also. Why did you change that for the d3300?

A lovely feeling of Autumn, especially the mist in background and subdued look, great
Totally agree here, that last one is a fantastic balance or reds greens and blues.
Your being stupid and dont need one.Ps I think I want to buy a drone... someone tell me I'm being stupid and don't need one.
My brother in law bought two drones, the first one kept on flying and never came back. The second one, he crashed it and smashed it up. It put me off the idea of getting one.Ps I think I want to buy a drone... someone tell me I'm being stupid and don't need one.
Why did you change that for the d3300?
A whole stop of extra DR, pretty big improvement.Sensor is same ,processor different, yes d3300 better lower iso but i think the 3400 has slightly better DR,
For some inexplicable reason Nikon decided to remove the sensor cleaning feature in the D3400 which probably put a lot of people off.
Thats true although the manager in Jessops rekoned that all it did was shake the dust up.so not too sure how important it is
just looked at the menu on my D3300, and it says "Image Dust Off ref photo", not sure if that was the same wording on my old D60 or was it on the D80The in camera sensor cleaning is a sensor shake, the D5200 does it too. Apparently the D3300 has better ISO noise performance too, is it a different sensor to the D3400 or is it a different processor?

The dust off reference image is used by Capture NX or NX2 as a reference to remove dust from images when processing themJust read up on the Image Dust Off, I must be looking at something else...
As it says, "Image Dust Off' is a tool which, when activated, can remove dust from RAW (NEF) digital images"
Never even noticed it in there...The dust off reference image is used by Capture NX or NX2 as a reference to remove dust from images when processing them
